we spent 2 nights at the Boutique Hotel Budapest (also known as Zara Boutique Hotel) prior to boarding a river cruise. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the Danube, the beautiful Central Market and the pedestrian street called the Vaci Ucta. Our room was fine, very clean and attractively decorated and there was a good WiFi signal... More

We stayed at Hotel Zara mid October. Having checked Trip Advisor before making our choice, we were very pleased and found the reports to be accurate. As stated the hotel is in a very convenient location, it is extremely clean and the reception staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are small but adequate with free internet access. The bathroom... More

We got a fantastic deal on this 4 star hotel (via expedia), with huge savings against the rack rate and other prices quoted here, so on the whole it was great value for money. The hotel is really well located - Budapest is a big city so you would never find a hotel where everything is within walking distance. This... More

A luxurious hotel with a very reasonable price in the city center of Pest side of Budapest. Fifty meters from the municipal market of Budapest and 500 meters from the Kálvin tér (Budapest Metro). Amazing cleanliness, excellent internet signal, fascinating breakfast and always with a smile in the face of the receptionists! I really enjoyed my stay there!

We are just back from a 4 night stay in Budapest. It is a beautiful city. The Hotel Zara was perfect for location. Yes our room was a little bit small but for all the time we spent in it it was fine. I did miss not having tea/coffee making facilities in our room but it had everything else. Breakfast... More

I did 3 nights in this hotel for a City break and it was very good value for money. You need to be prepared for the small but perfectly modern and kitted out bedrooms with no view at all, but it is a fair compromise as most of the bigger roomed hotels boasting views are more than twice the price.... This was a great find and value for 4 couples to spend 3 nights prior to our River Cruise. Pefect location for wandering the shopping area of Vacci. Cute square close to have a pre-dinner cocktail and people watch. Stroll the Liberty Bridge to see the Gellert Baths. The Grand Market is a 5 minute walk. Easy tram stop.... The... More

Excellent location, only 100m from the Danube and on the main tourist shopping thoroughfare. Excellent and friendly service from the staff and a well decorated hotel. BUT... you need a decent bed and some breakfast for a city break. I'm afraid the mattress was terrible and I didn't sleep for the 3 nights I was there. Also, the staff try... More
