Everything about this place looks as if it was an illustration of the term "Grand Hotel". I can`t think of any place that would beat it for decoration. Just relax and let your eyes wander about. It takes you back to a time when travelling for pleasure was something for an educated and rich elite of exquisite tastes. This is... more

I took my wife to the Boscolo New York Palace for a surprise weekend. Fantastic hotel - best in Budapest. Really good restauarant, fantastic spa area, lovely bedroom (at the back, so much quieter) and an incredible atrium. Definitely coming back. more

Stayed two nights at the New York Palace over a Winter weekend. Had seen a lot of the hotel before we arrived, which in retrospect was a mistake as there wasn't much left to surprise us. But still a great hotel and a wonderful experience. The building is as beautiful as the pictures suggest. The decor generally tasteful and even... more

What a wonderful hotel in a beautiful city! My husband and I spent a weekend at the hotel to celebrate our anniversary and had a fantastic weekend. The staff were friendly and helpful suggesting tours and restaurants all of which we enjoyed. They also booked all of these for us and arranged taxis transfers - nothing was too much trouble.... more

recently stayed for 4 days at the New York Palace, Budapest. I was very disappointed by the hotel but especially the staff and service. It started quite well, we were upgraded from a Junior Suite to an Executive suite. the room was beautiful. However although we were on the 5th floor you could here all the traffic. The suite had... more

I visited the New York Place with a group of girlfriends and we were completely thrilled with the hotel. The staff were so helpful - we really felt that they did everything they could to make our stay brilliant - from the upgrade to (AMAZING) suites when we arrived (without any request from us) through to advice on restaurants, taxi... more

We went to Budapest in late Feb/early March for a weekend winter getaway. We were a little nervy on the way from the airport to the hotel - it was a dull day, the streets just seemed grey and uninteresting....and then we drew up outside the New York Palace Hotel! The hotel is set on the outer ring road of... more
