My wife and I stayed at this hotel during holiday season and were very happy with the hotel. The room was very nice with plenty of room. The breakfast in the morning was top notch with a great buffet. The location right off the metro was very convenient for us to easily explore the city.

Fab hotel, great rooms, fabulous space, great service, comfortable beds, New York Cafe a great attraction. Worth going to for the architecture alone. Location at Blaha, not the Danube but still highly recommended.

Front desk great. Bathroom ok.Turning on rain shower soaked your head. Housekeeping spotty--no replacement washcloths & only occasional emptying of the trash. New York Cafe a real treat. Location meh.

We chose to stay here based on the photos and previous reviews. Gorgeous hotel lobby. We checked in and were given an upgrade to room 757. Gorgeous room, however discovered that it was twin beds for my wife and I, so requested a change. The front desk changed us to room 658, which was much smaller, however quiet and nice.... More

My wife and I with another couple loved our stay here prior to our river cruise. The Boscolo rates as one of our favorite stays on any trip. As my wife is a General Contractor in a hospitality renovation company (U.S. Las Vegas) this reflects an in-depth opinion. Everyone on the staff was mannered in the utmost fashion reflecting the... Excellent hotel with good service and proper amenities. Rooms are comfortable, big enough, well furnished, clean and silent. High level service, friendly but professional staff, a perfect wide open space available for conventions a very good restaurant complete the offer for a good business location in the Hungarian capital.

I had requested a room with an external street view and on check in was told that the only one available was a twin...I had booked a double. I was then offered a room in the new wing, which was larger and looked stylish, however over time I encountered a number of issues which I would not expect of a... More

Good location- it's very close to the train station, and not too far of a walk from the chain bridge. Surrounded by a lot of bars and nightlife, but the rooms are still quiet. The building itself is beautiful. The interior is grandiose with a beautiful lounge. The rooms were very spacious, and the wifi is very reliable. Would recommend.

This truly excellent hotel attends to every want with sumptuous rooms at the junior suite level and intelligent, above and beyond service. The only deficit is that the hotel is located a distance from the Danube, maybe a 20-25 minute walk. However it is therefor closer to other things and very near a tram stop which makes getting around quick... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
