The hotel is located in the center of the city, near the metro stations and easy to find. The receptionists are helpful. The room is big and comfortable, but there are some disadvantages: lack of sound isolation and some tubes of hotel cosmetics should be offered to the guest, for example shampoo and conditioner will be enough. Would like to... More

I booked the hotel with hotel.info and instead of being charged the amount in EUR as displayed I was charged more due to their inability to communicate sufficiently! Never book with www.hotel.info /www.hotel.de!!! The hotel itself has a good location, is relatively clean and the staff try their best. Breakfast is plain but good value for money overall. I was... I highly recommend this hotel. All the staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are spacious, good location, tasty buffet breakfast. There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner, but the receptionist was helpful with good recommendations for nearby restaurants.

15 mins walk from Keleti pu, or bus/tram to Blaha Lujza, then along Erzebet korut to Domb utca. Hotel access 24 hrs but have to press door bell. Area might be a bit off putting as is on side street but really pretty safe, plenty of cheap bars/ restaurants nearby, open late. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, towels a bit rough.... More

After experiencing some troubles with an other accommodation I booked I decided to cancel that specific accommodation and went looking for a new and better one, Hotel Queen Mary. This was a good decision as Hotel Queen mary proved to be the ideal hotel for me. Located near a large metro and bus station (Blaha Lujza tér) and in the... More

The location was excellent in terms of transportation (Metro 7 walking minutes), restaurants and nightlife. Staff was very helpful with good communicational skills in english too. The reception was available 24 hours. The breakfast was simple but sufficient and satisfactory. Rooms were spacy and clean. Great value for money. Check out time was set a bit early (10 am). We... We expected better when reading the reviews. The size of the room was ok, but not very clean as we found hair in our beds. We asked for a matrimonial room and were given a double-bed one, the towels were extremly hard and the electricity card broked after 5 minutes so everything seemed old and not taken care of. The... Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
