The nicest way to describe Csaszar Hotel in Budapest is - adequate. If you need a room, mostly clean, don't mind a small bed, noisy trolley and whistles from the pool deck - this is your place. If you want service, a smile, towels that are not rags - not your place. This was booked as part of our tour... More

Not happy with this hotel. We've booked this hotel because of the free parking and the pool, and didn't get either of it. On the website trough which we've made the booking was said that the parking was for free. When we've arrived, were informed that the parking was not free from recently. We parked in the street, but had... More

This hotel was built as a nunnery in the late 1800, so the room are small, but still very comfortable. All have bathrooms except have to be careful when you shower as the floor floods easy. It is clean the staff are great, very, helpful. If you are a very light sleeper than it is not for you as the... More

Our team visited for just two nights. Overall not a bad place with the exception of the shower. I felt bad for my roommate since after my shower in the shallow basin would flood it left her with a soggy floor to maneuver. Great access to views of the beautiful architecture and the Danube. Recommend walking at night to view... More

Friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable room and access to an Olympic size swimming pool. Rooms on the street are a little noisy but staff are really helpful and will move you if needed. Great experience.

Stayed for 3 nights in Budapest and this was withing our price range and very nicely positioned - close to the Danube, about half an hour walk from the Chain Bridge, close to subway and tram lines and very close to Margit park. The hotel is pretty basic and the room we were in should definitely receive some new furnishing... More

The best thing about this hotel is the value: for a price of a main course in a decent Manhattan restaurant you get the full-size outside pool and a location in Buda part which is 5 min by car (or 30 min walk) from the Chain Bridge. So I guess it's a really good deal in summer time when one... More

We went to Budapest on a whim! We asked some locals where there was an hotel to stay and they pointed us in the directionof the Csaszar. The Receptionists were very helpful and even allowed me to use their computer for a few minutes! The rooms are very basic, but very clean. The bathroom was tiny, but practicable. We only... More
