I feel that giving them 1 star is being very generous. We arrived late at night after a long train journey, and were told we had to wait for the manager to arrive, because they overbooked, so were going to take us across town to an apartment with 2 people in it already (we were told this was a one... We were in Budapest for Sziget Festival. After 4 days of camping and extreme amount of people at Sziget we decided to book a place to stay. Of course, due to the event, nowhere was available so we found this place. Unfortunately, we haven't checked for comments before arriving to the hostel but nor did we have the chance because... More

After turning up and finding nobody at the hostel to welcome us, we decided to return a few hours later. We were greeted by a member of 'staff' in his boxers looking like he had only just woken up. He told us they were fully booked as 'everyone enjoyed it so much they wanted to stay an extra night', despite... More

Where to start. First of all the place was absolutely filthy, there was dust everywhere, and everything seemed to be slightly broken: the light in the shower, the light in the loo, almost every piece of furniture was either broken or stained, absolute disaster. The hostel was very difficult to find due to the fact that it is on the... More

We arrived in Budapest and after much confusion found the hostel above a bike shop with no signs, then had to try and get into the hostel, an ordeal in itself because there is no one on check in and they keep the door locked. When we came back an hour later (4pm) we woke the guy on check in... More

We turned up and there was noone there and no reception to check in at. Then we were taken to a separate building 5 minutes away which was just a dump. The place hasn't been cleaned in years, the beds are uncomfortable, the rooms are hot, the shower curtains stuck together and people saw cockroaches. It may be budget but... More

I stayed here with a couple of friends as we passed through Hungary during our interrail. The hostel offers you the basic conditions. Bed, hot shower and kitchen. It's a bit messy overrall but its location manages to balance things. You get a good center point rigth in between touristic attractions and nightlife. You also get a supermarket 2min away... More

Very nice time in this place! Quiet, clean, moderate price, well situated, nice staff! There were not many people at this time in the hostel, we could have long talk with the staff which helps us very friendly! We even could park the car not far away and had no troubles! The parking rates are very low ! Sure, don´t... More

This is not a review, just a warning: I had a booking at Museum Guest House, and was moved to #2 into one of their apartments. Aside from the fact that it was isolated from the main hostel and on a big, noisy, busy street, the second night I was there I awoke to find a bedbug crawling over me.... More
