We need to book a hotel on last minute and this one was one of the available. The room costs 40 EUR/night for two, but is more like hostel than hotel. The location is quite good, it is 10 minutes walk from the centre.

We stayed in Nightingale for one night until our transfer for Prague. Position of hotel is great, it's one stop from train station and one can exit from metro station Blaha Lujza ter directly at the enterance to the bulding. Only problem I had was that room was a bit warm and having a window open is a problem because... More

Stayed here for one night. Situated in an old heritage building right above Blaha Luja Ter underground metro station, its location is awesome. Close to all sort of public transport, restaurants, shops, it is walking distance from the city centre. The rooms are inside an apartment with a common living room and kitchen. The room was spacious with huge ceiling,... More

Arrived Budapest without any prior reservation, and accidentally found this hotel while surfing for choices at the nearby McDonald's. Got lost looking for it because its entrance is well hidden especially at night. The staff who took my registration was very friendly and answered all questions in fluent English. I booked a single room for EUR 23. But I was... More

I experienced this 'mini hotel' as a number of rooms situated on the 3rd floor of the apartment house, with the reception on the 1st floor and a tiny narrow lift. Despite its convenient location close to a town centre, I would not recommend you to stay there in the slightest. It can be described by smells of urine and... More

Good location but there is a lot of noise from the busy street even during the night. Our room was situated on the 1st floor. Fortunately we stayed there just for the one night and were very tired so we didn't care much about the noise :) Room and bathroom are spacious but oldish ...but the stuff was very friendly.

For 15 euros you get all the necessary basics: two beds, towels, hangers for clothes, a table, a private toilet and shower + wifi in a big apartment, where you will be renting a room. There is also a shared kitchen with a fridge and kettle and probably knives and cutlery. Nothing fancy or luxurious, but it is clean and... More

I have been stopping here several times during my stay in Hungary At the time it was still called Mandragora hostel. I was staying in a shared room, staff was really helpful, the atmosphere was nice and I got to know many interesting people. I would come back gladly!

I have stayed twice in Nightingale's apartment. It's definitely luxurious, about 50 sqm, fully equipped kitchen, ceilings four meters high, private entrance, view to Blaha Lujza Ter. This is my priority when looking accommodation in Budapest.
