Hotel is ok, the sheets are clean, toilet not so much, there is a lot of dust in the rooms. But if you are looking for a hotel just to sleep and have a breakfast, which is good, than this is ok hotel. Good value for price. And the + is the tram station just in front of the hotel

Don't really know what I expected, but this place didn't match it. I haven't stayed in many hotels in the Eastern Europe, so I had no idea what to expect, but bottom line is that three stars over there quite obviously don't translate to three stars in the Western parts. The Griff wasn't "nasty", it was just old, worn and..... More

If you are expecting an exclusive boutique hotel in the heart of the city with personal, attentive service, this is probably not the place to come. If you are planning a honeymoon, this is also not the place to come, although, strangely, the place appears to do a roaring trade at weekends as a venue for wedding receptions. The hotel... More

The hotel was clean, the staff was helpful. With the trams (19, 49) you could easily get to the central area. When booking it with booking.com, it said that the value normally is much higher, but with a special last minute offer you can get it at a reduced rate (minus 86% of the original price). I would have been... More

We stayed at this hotel for a week in May. Hotel is a bit out of the centre but the transport is really good so thats not a problem. Breakfast was very good but we had a meal one evening and it was very bland. The room was adequate although rather dusty. Main complaint is the doors need to be... More

For two or three nights, it'll do. It's not exactly the Hilton and, yes, the service is so-so, but if it's good value and decent transport links you are after, it's not bad. The hotel seems to mainly cater for coach parties and wedding parties, though it is probably the 'budget option' for both. Ostensibly the hotel has all the... More

We were given a smoker room, without asking, with plenty of dirt. The beds tiwhout a suitable matress and with had a suspicius grey colour, we could feel a vibration all over the room like of a coming train. When we went to complain to the guy in he reception, she was the rudest person in budapest, (a worthy descendant of the... If you're looking for simple accomodationa with no extra services but good transport communication and not too far from the city center - you should choose it. Hotel is simple and quite clean. Tram stop is right near the hotel from which you can get via 49 tram directly to the heart of the Budapest in 15 minutes. Tram works... More

it works if you're just passing through but i wouldn't recommend it for a city trip or a longer stay. Everything screams dirty. I don't know if it's just because it's old or it's really so. The bathroom smells a little, the furniture in the room it's worn out, the tv was the same as one my parents had when... More

First of all let me say that I thought that hotel is in the end of the world, but it really isn't that way. It has great connection with city center and tram station is a minute away from hotel. You can use tram No 49 and it will take you to very heart of the city. It is 20-30... More
