Okay, I'm going to leave the measurement of towel nap and estimate of dust mites to others. (Leo Panzio, I must add, features great nap and no mites.) Yes, I'm going to overlook a few Trip Advisor reviews--as I (with uncharacteristic wisdom) did when I booked-- from ingenuous folk perturbed by the dark, clandestine access that takes you (if you... more

Leo Panzio is an excellent location. We found it it Rick Steves and Frommers and booked it on line. Upon arrival, the graffeti covered building made us a little scared and the dark hallway and stairs were not inviting but once we entered the hotel, it was a total transformation. The hotel is clean, modern looking, and quaint. The person... more

We stayed here for five nights in April and couldn't have been more satisfied with our stay. We actually stayed at Le Meridien (five star hotel, I believe) for two nights as well, and we ended up rating Leo Panzio just as high because it was a smaller place with a homier feeling that was just as professional. The staff... more

Don't let the street level view scare you away. Once inside this hotel was very nice. The air conditioning worked very well for a hot summer in Budapest. The room was small (by US standards) but very adequate and very clean. Excellent English spoken by desk personnel. It is very convienient to the City center sites. Reasonable variety of breakfast... more

I wasn't so happy with our stay in Leo panzio. I thought it very expensive for what it offered. (101 euro/night/double room) Positive : a good matrass and friendly staff Negative : the step in the room (I can't understand why they didn't level the floor; the ceiling was high enough) a very small bathroom with only a very small... more

I had booked the Delibab but fortunately i read the reviews for it on here. I cancelled my booking and read the reviews for the Leo Panzio on here and booked it. Really pleased i did, its central location, friendly staff and very reasonable price made our break to Budapest very enjoyable. I checked out the Delibab, they showed us... more

Superb value for money here. This is a great hotel, clean comfortable and in an excellent location in Pest just seconds from the metro stop and many bars and restaurants. A quick walk from the Danube and within spitting distance of trams to take you along it in either direction. The room has everything you need and the staff are... more

Stayed at the Leo Panzio for three nights in October. Really enjoyed our experience here, and you can't beat the price for this kind of accommodation in this location. The property is near the Danube, the main shopping street, many restaurants, and on top of the Metro station. I echo all the previous reviews, that from the outside one could... more

Great hotel. Good location, 200 metres from the Danube, backs on to the central pedestrian zone and is next to a Metro station. The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a building. Do not be put off by the downstairs entrance and area around the lift, it is a bit messy and dark. The hotel is quite different, bright,... more

What a great place to stay! The entrance was rather intimidating and the lift a relic from a bygone era. Howerver, once inside the hotel, it is clean, modern and the desk staff were incredibly helpful with tourist information. We had Room 8 which overlooked the intersection a couple of blocks away from the Danube and there is a metro... more
