Superb, large room. Excellent decor. Sumptuous breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Great central Pest location for sight-seeing, restaurants & local cocktail bar(s). Good public transport link from airport - 5 minute walk from train station, direct from airport.

Plus: Location, room style, comfort of beds, large room with sitting area. Small terrace (without a view though). Minus: Hard to find something, perhaps that the toilet was too low... Location: If you stay there don't miss the restaurant and bar area Gözsdu Court on the other side of Kiraly str. Perfect location on a quiet side street only 1... More

I was looking for a less expensive place than my usual Budapest hotel since I was travelling with a friend, and saw this one reviewed on both Bookings.com and here. It was an excellent choice. Great value for money. Breakfast was good and the internet worked well, and the location was fantastic -- right near the Opera house, and about... More

Loved this hotel. The rooms are all different, very clean and modern, with all amenities. The hotel is secure and the staff is excellent. The location is central and convenient, one block from the opera house and the subway- or just walk. There is a variety of nearby restaurants, although at breakfast you will want to eat in the very... More

My husband and I chose the Casati Hotel Budapest because we had stayed there several years ago under a different name and management and had enjoyed it then. We hoped it was still as good, and it certainly is--if anything, better than before. Service is warm and attentive, our room was attractive and spacious (including a small terrace), lighting was... My wife and I had a 3 night Budapest break to celebrate our Ruby wedding. We selected the Casati hotel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and weren't disappointed. Everything is spotless and our room was lovely. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Within walking distance for most of the sights and lots of nice cafes and restaurants... More

The beverages offered to us by the friendly receptionist while checking-in reminded me of our vacations in the tropics. The foyer is small but fitted smartly. We got attracted by the functional arts that embellished the foyer, dining area, staircase and room. At the start, we were a bit disappointed that we didn't get a natural room, which we have... More

Budget boutique We picked the Casati from TripAdvisor and weren’t disappointed. The place is trying a bit too hard to be a bit boutique and gimmicky (it’s probably an old town house – lots of stone and a covered-over courtyard), but it’s nonetheless a nice budget stay, almost exclusively for tourists. Our room was average size, with an adequate bathroom,... More

The location of this hotel is great. It is very close to the action in the city, and everything is walkable from the hotel. The breakfast buffet is one of the best that I've ever had in a hotel. The breakfast was always plentiful, and the eating area was always quiet. We had a very large room which surprised me... More
