Stayed at the Fortuna boat hotel for 3 nights in December. Twin room that came with a living room (r109) so effectively two rooms which was excellent as traveling with friend. Room came with plenty of wardrobes, a tiny but efficient bathroom with toilets and shower with excellent water pressure, a minimum bar, telly , Danube views and convenient general... More

This is great. After a long search finally something that is worth a visit. What more do you need, the Danube and the ship. You're on the river and sleep on board. rooms are cabins of course. Simply perfect for sleep and be in Budapest.

Yes, it is hostel on boat. Yes, space is reduced. But the price is 10 (ten, TEN!) euro per night per person. Including breakfast! You can mist that offer. Rooms are simply furnished, but clean. Seems to me no problem to stay there overnight (you spend most of time outside anyway, didn't you?). Rooms are located on 3 decks, we... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. Our twin room was surprisingly big with an en suite shower room. The room also was well equipped with a fridge and TV. The buffet breakfast was amazing!! Even for me a vegetarian there was plenty of choice...yogurt,fruit,bread,jams,cheeses. For the meat eaters there is the usual bacon, sausages, egg, salami etc... In my opinion this place was... More

The hotel was good, room was comfortable and clean but it was hot inside and you couldn't open windows, air conditionning was turned off so it was stuffy. Breakfast and food in a restaurant were excellent.

Small but cosy rooms. Clean bathroom. Breakfast ok. Try the dark beer! Location good, near Margrit Szighet. Even though the street is busy outside, you couldn't hear any cars. Staff is semi friendly, but I don't like chatty overfriendly staff so it was fine.

Didn't know what to expect from a boat hotel. But having stayed for two nights at a very reasonable price I can recommend it. Room was basic and shower/toilet a bit narrow. The breakfast served downstairs was reasonable. Would probably rate it as **+ It has a restaurant but it closes at 10pm and we were only arriving around then.... More

We spent in Budapest two days (nights) in this boat hotel. I must say that it was a good choice. I was little bit sceptic, never been on boat hotel before. But I was positively supprised. Professional staff, nice environment and room. The room is small but what you can expect on the boat and overall, I just need bed,... More

I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There is nothing like waking up in the morning and looking out your window to watch the river traffic. However, it is a boat, so there are limitations. I was given a very nice suite on the 2nd Floor (01 level?). I did not require a 2 room suite as I... More
