We stayed here for three nights. Great room, compact but sufficient as we did not spend too much time there. It is close to metro, bus, etc, but we walked everywhere- if you enjoy walking it is not too far from anything (perhaps 15-20 min walk to parliament). The staff were very helpful and there was a lot of information... More

Me and my sister had a wonderful stay at the Boat Hotel Fortuna. We booked a twin room with shared bathroom but when we arrived we got apparently an upgrade and stayed in a room with bathroom. The room is small but enough. It also has a TV. We had a great view on the Danube, with a wonderful sunset.... More

We stayed here for a week. We were originally booked in the hostel, but due to renovations they upgraded us to a standard hotel room. Thus, you get two reviews for the rooms as we stayed in both. What is common between them is the breakfast and the general service. We only had a beer in the restaurant. (Felt it... More

I recently stayed here in late October for 3 nights with 2 other people. The location of the botel is decent as it is right beside Margaret Island, great for walking around and relaxing. Due to the construction around the Parliament currently it adds some time when walking to the centre but both in daylight and night time the views... More

This hotel was exactly as we expected, having read reviews, cannot say more about how good it is for what we paid which was €30 a night for a two bedded room with breakfast. At time of writing (end October 2013), be aware that metro line 2 is undergoing a series of all day and evening closures, due to the... More

I recommend this accomodation to everyone wants to get a a higher standard service for a fair price. Rooms were nice, breakfast excellent. We spent an great night time on the rear of the boat just drinking with the look at the Buda castle. Overall, very romantic place to stay in Budapest.

We stayed 3 days in May. It is a boat. Location is excellent. It was easy to get to all attractive places. The cabin was clean. Breakfasts had good quality and diversity. At check-in we got a flyer with 15% discount for one diner. So, once we had a good diner with traditional gulyash on the open desk. The thing... More

The breakfast is really good! It takes several mornings to try all kind of food. It includes also hungarian classic breakfast and fresh... More

Just got back from a three night stay. It's only a star hotel so don't have massive expectations. My cabin was functional and clean if a little small. The air conditioning unit did not work but it wasn't required. Breakfast is a continental buffet in a small dining room so do expect to share your table with others. Location wise... More
