Very good value for money. Very good access if you drive a car. By bus to the center can be reached but are necessary transfers. Breakfast is very delicious. Rooms could use a renovation but it is good - very clean and nice. Very friendly and competent staff, able to return at any time - we came back again around... More

Me and my wife went on a cheap weekend break and loved the Korona. Location is fine as long as you are prepared that you will be catching a bus into town. We didn't wait longer than 5-10ins and it just added to our experience of discovering the city. The bus is only 400 forint each (just over a £1).... More

My best friend and I travelled to Budapest for the Christmas Markets, and stayed at the korona. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is small but clean and very comfortable beds. We had a twin room over the restaurant with a veranda which was basic but lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious, however,... More

Stayed three nights in this hotel for a city break in December 2011. The price for stay was really a baragin, booked two weeks in advance on hotels.com. The hotel is situated near Lebanon embassy in Budapest, more precisely in the Buda part of the city. The surroundings are quiet and seemed to be very safe. It is situated a... More

We stayed for a long weekend at the hotel. We were not expecting a fantastic room and we did not get one, ours was basic but had what is usually needed at a hotel. When on holidays, we usually walk through town during the day, come back to Hotel early evening and then go out at night to a restaurant... More

Booked this hotel through the British Airways sale with flights and was not disappointed. Breakfast was fantastic - great continental selection which changed daily. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is slightly out of central Budapest but you can take buses which take about 10 minutes and are so easy to use - about £1 a ticket which covers... More

We stayed 2 nights there in april 2009, part of a tour that included also Vienna and Hajduszoboszlo. Nice location but a bit far from the city centre, good food, less parking places and not so nice staff. We booked a 4 persons room, but when we reached the hotel, we saw that the room is with 3 beds and... More

Decent and comfortable hotel. The shower was powerful and hot (took me a while to figure the best position to keep the dial to get the perfect water temparature). I didn't bother with the TV since all the channels were in Hungarian. The free Wi-Fi was definitely a bonus and worked flawlessly everytime. The inclusive breakfast, which is served in... More

BEST hotel we stayed at in all of Europe! This is honestly a 5-Star operation all the way! My girlfriend and I stayed here March 2011 for about $30 per night (breakfast included). After three months of backpacking through Europe, we agreed this was the BEST hotel we stayed at the entire time. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful,... More

This place was a little out of the city centre but after a few days I realised that the area in general was where all the affluent people lived so that is peace of mind in its self. We had a room right on the top floor with a balcony at the front of the hotel so you could spy... More
