We spent 3 nights in this new hotel. The room was nice, quite and clean. No complaint of room , bathroom and breakfast. Staff is also helpful and friendly. The city center is easily accessible by bus number 8 or 112 / only 2 stops. Very good price / value. Highly recommended.

The Gold Hotel in Budapest is a modern, well-appointed, clean hotel that is a very good value relative to the other offerings in the city. While just a bit out of the center of action, it has good proximity to Metro stations (about 5-minutes walk) and you can get to the city center in less than 30-minutes walk. A very... More

The hotel itself was very clean and has obviously done up recently, with a new lift and electric taps! The beds were comfy and the windows provided excellent insulation against the busy road outside. It's located near quite a lot of historic sites (caste area, citadel and baths) on the Buda side of the city. If you're looking for late... More

Every bit as good or better than Castle Hill Hilton unless the view is worth $150 more per day. My daughter stayed at the Hilton, so I could compare it. I think the room was as good, the staff was courteous and helpful...just didn't wear the fancy uniforms, and the complementary breakfast might have been better.

The main advantage is price -location ration. Easy to find, parking places are available. WiFi functions well. Clean enough, but not perfect. We stopped in a separate building, two adjacent rooms, good enough for 4 people. Not noisy, if no late visitors come back from a good party :) It has a restaurant, but unfortunately I can not comment it... More

*we stayed at the apartments. The room is big enough for 4 people, the only problem I had with it- the design gives the apartment a little dated and not very clean look. With that said, the apartment was very good and the staff was extremely nice, as they halped us with any question or reservation to attractions. I have... More

This lovely hotel is worth all it's stars and the fit out in the rooms is luxurious, certainly compared with the four star hotel I stayed in in Pest. I only moved because the other one couldn't accommodate all of my stay but I'm glad I did. It's a great location especially for getting to the Buda Castle district but... More

I stayed here in a twin room in August 2014 for four nights. I would recommend thinking very carefully about this hotel and not necessarily paying attention completely to all of the reviews here on Trip Advisor. The quite considerable downside to the Hotel is its location (which admittedly is not the fault of the Hotel or its staff). It... More

Very nice and cosy. The art decoration of the room, especially colours that made the snugly feeling. Polite and helpful staff was always there to advise and help. Hotel is located on the Buda side with very easy access to most of the attractions.

The hotel is situated almost in the center of "everything" you can go for a walk and go to the Citadela, cross the bridge and you are on the other side of the city Breakfasts are delicious, everyone will find something for himself, starting from drinks, through cheese, bread, yooghurts, cakes etc Rooms are very clean, full-equipped :)
