My wife and I recently enjoyed a two night stay at the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal - having selected this hotel from TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. The Hotel is really beautiful, having been refurbiushed not too long ago in a very tasteful manner. Our room was very spacious with all the facilities you expect in a five star hotel... More

After reading many reviews I settled on the Corinthia Grand Royal for my first trip to Budapest and I was so happy with the experience. The location is really great because it is mid-way between the Danube/Chain Bridge/Buda Castle and the part of the city that contains Heroes Square, the Fine Arts Museum, etc. It is an easy walk in... My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night on our way to a wedding in Romania. Booked it free with frequent flyer miles. The hotel is a short walk from a metro station with tickets available from reception. Room was very comfortable and quiet overlooking the atrium. Very good breakfast on offer. Greatly enjoyed a swim in... More

We did, admittedly, book one of the Executive Rooms, giving us access to the Executive Lounge (and its excellent breakfast!), but imagine that guests in 'standard' rooms would still rate this hotel highly. The overall appearance is grand, the conversion of what seems to have been two buildings, highly successful, standards of decoration and service are very high and a... More

After reading the reviews we were excited for the our stay. The hotel is a distance from the sights, and shopping. We asked for directions for shopping as we left the hotel and were told to go either way. Do not go the left as you leave, the area is mostly vacant with little shopping or sights. We arranged for... Having stayed in a number of hotels in Europe, I can safely say this is the finest. Superb service, all the staff were friendly and spoke a number of European languages. The rooms were spacious and incredibly clean. I would highly recommend upgrading to the executive package as the breakfast, light lunch, canapes, and drinks (e.g. wine, champagne) are all... More

Stayed at the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal with my family. Excellent service overall, great looking place, clean, good location. All of us enjoyed the excellent Royal Spa. One of the better 5 star Hotels I stayed at, recommended.

This was our fourth stay at the Grand Royal and it just gets better. The staff are attentive, friendly and polite, the bedrooms are very tastefuly decorated and the beds are very comfortable. We booked an Executive room for four nights, giving us access to the Executive Club where snacks and drinks are served free of charge throughout the day.... More

I stayed for almost a week at the Royal. It is honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. An ideal combination of 100 plus years of history and modern day luxury. The hotel restaurant is well above expectations, and the spa is worth visiting as well. Location is great, central with good access to everything but... More

Arrived after booking due to the reviews on here. Not disapointed. Upgraded free to a suite, also used the executive club. Can't find any real faults.
