We just came from Prague and took an overnight train to Budapest. It took 7.5 hours and we walked from the train station to the hotel (about 15 minutes). The staff is friendly and knowledgeable in giving good direction and places to eat. About 15 minutes walk to the city centre but it is best to take metro (red line)... more

The Novotel Budapest Centrum is a standard Novotel - clean, friendly with good amenities. The rooms in themselves are large but very standard Novotel. What makes Budapest Centrum stand out, however, is the lovely Art Noveau building it's housed in. This building is truly beautiful when lit up at night. The hotel's in-house café and restaurant is also splendid, a... more

We booked a three-night weekend fbreak or half-term, and had a very good deal on the Novotel website for a family of two adults and two children in a family room including a good buffet breakfast. This is the second time we have stayed in a Novotel and the concept seems to be successful in providing good quality accommodation at... more

We spent three nights at the Novotel Budapest Centrum just a few weeks ago. The rooms are spacious and quite clean but basic in amenities. The hotel staff were all helpful and attentive. The dining room is beautiful and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. We enjoyed the internet access in the lobby. Despite the fact that the hotel is considered... more

Traveled from the UK to Budapest and stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in October half-term. Its located v close to two tram stops, within walking distance but not within sight. And just one stop away from a main line train station. The hotel was very clean, modern and tidy. All facilities were in perfect working order. Staff were... more

We stayed here for 2 nights after being moved from the nearlby Atrium Hotel beciuse of an 'incident' with one of their floors. We are so glad we were moved to the Novotel Centrum. The staff are excellent, speaking English, German, French and Hungarian, check in was speedy and efficient. The room was huge, spotlessly clean with huge windows on... more

We were in the Hotel in our honeymoon and enjoyed staying there very much. the staff at the reception desk was very helpful in everything we needed . one issue - the rooms at the front side of the Hotel are noisy if you open the window (but you hear nothing when you close it) . when we discovered this... more

We stayed at the Novotel for 4 nights on our first visit to Budapest and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The service was excellent, the staff was helpful and all spoke English. Great breakfast buffet. Also has a nice hot tub where you could relax your aching muscles after a day of sightseeing (although you really ought to go to... more

We visited budapest in March 2008 for a city break with friends. The hotel was immaculate and the staff friendly. The building is very ornate and the rooms modern. However the beds seemed quite soft which obviously isnt to everyones taste. There was a good size spa and massage service. We ate out in for dinner in surrounding restaurants and... more
