Rubin is out of city centre, that we knew. Just a paid car park in front of hotel is dissappointing, looks like a field. Better park behind hotel free of charge. Some receptionist were fine, some bored. To get to a room took a while. They have some ridiculous system of electronic keys (to get to the corridor) and of... More

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was huge with terrace and faced to a nice garden. The food was excellent, we were able to eat bio breakfast too. Their "Somloi" cake was excellent. Everybody should try it! Well-equipped wellness and fitness room, even they have bowling and squash courts too. I... More

Had a meeting at this hotel. Its a pretty basic hotel really, could be compared to a Holiday Inn type hotel. Everything was ok with the meeting so no complaints. Its in a lovely area and the best thing really was the view from the hotel. Ideal if you want to visit the Thermal Spas and a bit far out... More

We stayed at Rubin Hotel for 2 days with my partner. The hotel facilities are excellent: fully-equipped gym, wellness, squash field, bowling etc. Our room was big, nice and spotlessly clean. We had a wonderful dinner in the Amaretto restaurant, where I eat Hungarian goulash soup which was just perfect. It was the best goulash soup which I have ever tried.... More

We went on the New Year's Eve holiday in Budapest and stayed at the Rubin Hotel. We were nicely surprised by the Spa and by the rooms, more exactly the size of the rooms. i didn't expect to have a small living room and a bedroom for what it was supposed to be a double room. we had an early... More

Went to Buda for dental treatment at VitalEurope which is ongoing, (dentist is definitely worth recommending) my mum and I were on the trip and we shared a room for 3 nights. I paid £100 on Octupus travel, i did think was rather cheap breakfast was also included there was no warning that we would be staying in the shabby... More

The hotel has a great spa and gym. This is the best part. The rooms are small tired and shabby and beds are very uncomortable. Menu options are limited and there are no bars or restaurants locally. There is a bus stop a short walk from the hotel but yoh need to change buses to get into budapest. Avoid. More

I both stayed here and used the meeting rooms. Both of which were a huge disappointment. The service here is terrible, maybe with the exception of one fairly happy woman on reception. In particular the service, and food, in the restaurant is woeful to say the least. Staff in the restaurant do a good job in making you feel like... More

Wellness and spa-section was a HUGE letdown! Massage-area/room was small and very uncomfortable, masseuse did NOT change towles between massages (luckily my friend was before me, and not some stranger)! Pedicure was next door in a tiny, tiny hairsalon...Nail-clippings was just dropped on the floor, yuck! Make sure NOT to sleep in a room facing the main road, you will... More

The hotel building seems to be old and somehow renovated. The outdoor parking lot costs quite much for this kind of sandy, rocky field without any line drawn. I would not recommend the hotel location if you easily want to get into the centre of Budapest. Couple of times we had to wait for the receptionist since her private phone... More
