We arrived around midnight at this hotel after taking a taxi from the airport. In the lobby we were told the hotel was overbooked and they would transfer us to another 4 star hotel in town. Staying in the Rubin involves daily trave to the City Centre a Taxi journey of 15 to 20 mns and costing between 2500 and 5500. The ONLY positive thing about the Hotel Rubin is its location close to the M7 that allows access back to the Highway to Croatia. For travellers visiting Budapest by air...then its location on the edge of the City is a disadvantage.
