The room was clean, had a useful fridge but no tea/coffee making facilities. The only problem was that the hotel was really warm and the air-con did virtually nothing to cool the room. The hotel bar was, unsurprisingly, expensive but there's a bar just opposite the hotel; there's also a small shop and a supermarket down the road. We decided... more

As previous reviewers have said, this hotel is a bit out of the centre - but Budapest is a medium-size city where I would advise buying a travel card to get anywhere, in which case this hotel is in the perfect location. I'll try to decribe: The two main tram lines in Pest form a 'D' shape, tram #2 runs... more

The hotel quality was very good, rooms were modern and very clean, but a little small. The staff were very polite and helpful. There was free internet, a gym and sauna which unfortunately are under renervation, a restaurant (didn't eat there though) and a bar. The location as mentioned before is a little on the outskirts, the walk to the... more

This hotel was nicely appointed with nice but very small rooms and bathrooms. The staff was friendly. It was clean and neat. My big complaint was the location is out of the city center and a good 15 min walk to the metro and about 30 minute walk to the center. I think there are better options closer to town... more

Hotel is a little way from the action but at least close to the tram and 10 minutes from the metro. There is a late night supermarket down the street that you can buy supplies from to fill up the fridge in the room with. As people have mentioned, rooms are a bit small and lacking frills, but they are... more

Very friendly and profesional front desk staff. Kind enough to lend me a electrical adapter for laptop to use the free wifi. Overall this is an excellent property, bright and new. Rooms can be a bit tight, but for European standrds fairly decent size. SPAR supermarket located down the street and area is quiet at night. Nice bar across the... more

We were very pleased with our stay at the Ramada Budapest. Those expecting more than just a comfy bed and shower, however, may want to look elsewhere as the rooms are a bit limited, but then they don't advertise themselves to be any different (i.e. if they say that there isn't any tea-making facilities, why would you expect one?!) Our... more

This hotel is excellent value and most comfortable. The rooms are clean and pleasant. In the very hot weather the air conditioning worked well. No bath, but a modern shower that that was very efficient with plenty of hot water. Ignore the only poor report on this hotel-maybe he actually stayed elsewhere!. more

Except few people from the restaurant, all the experience with ramada budapest was unpleasant. The bathroom is basic, with no bath as you can see on photo. more

We stayed at the Ramada in Budapest for one night on 28/06/07. It was a disappointing experience. The room was very small for a double room. We had a bedside table on one side, but on the other side of the bed there was not even enough room to get into bed. The room we stayed should have been a... more
