Lobby, bar and restaurant really look like as they are in an average hotel. Always packed with loud Italian students having party on the street. But everything depends on the staff. If they can tell them not to have party on the street, in front of the hotel and go inside and have some drinks there instead of it would... More

this is my first review and i never do them. but this hotel had very misleading photos of the hotel, inside and out. first, the area was definitely not quite. i've been up all night with no sleep. paper thin walls and you can hear every peep and cell phone vibration next door, neighborhood was noisy and it felt like... My boyfriend and I were looking for an inexpensive getaway which is what we got, I had expected better based on the rating as the room looked dated and wasn't overly comfortable. Basic amenities aren't provided which you would expect from 4*. The location is fine with some good restaurants and a wine cafe/bar nearby. The restaurant in the hotel... More

Looks like a backpackers hostel. Worst room more like a 1 star. Cheap wooden floors and the worst decor ever! Old furniture. Old bed. Didn't even have a throw on it. Just white sheets with white quilts, so bad you don't even feel like sleeping on them. In fact we checked out earlier then we were supposed to on the... More

We took a special prize offer and booked the room 40 days before our planned stay at the hotel. But, on the day of our arrival we were informed that we were, due to the overbooking, transferred to another hotel for the same price. The another hotel was also 4-star, but of lower quality. If we knew that earlier, we... More

I stayed here with my partner for 2 nights. It was very affordable and we got we expected. A comfortable, clean room and bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and it wasn't too far from the centre. The staff in the hotel were very helpful arranging excursions and providing us maps and generally giving useful advice. The hotel has several restaurants... More

Leonardo Budapest is in a pleasant neighborhood, clean, good location and equipped with wonderful and helpful staff. The communication with the reservation department and management was superb - Janos Ivan was prompt, helpful and supportive in every way. My only criticism is the poor WiFi connection in some of the rooms (my VIP guests could not connect to the internet... More

Leonardo Budapest is a pleasant well run hotel whose greatest quality is good value for money. The room I was in was slightly on the small side, but served its purpose completely. I would guess that there are larger rooms in the hotel if needed. Everything worked properly and was well kept and clean. The breakfast included in the reasonable... More

Well, I will start out by saying that I was traveling with a group of 4 Americans that don't speak Hungarian hardly at all. The language barrier was not that bad, though. The hotel is in a nice location, within walking distance to bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is small, the rooms are small, the bar is small, etc.... More
