Hotel Mediterran is a good place to stay because it is clean and friendly. However, we did not find it to be of four-star quality as they claim it to be. Still I recommend it. more

This hotel is good, but does not look 4* to me, rooms are to small, the bar is open till 11 and there is no room service provided. Hotel is a bit far from centre and close to busy highway. We booked it on price 34eur per double room(special offer) what was reasonable price for the standard we got. On... more

Budapest is notorious for those hard-to-find one day accomodations. I had a flight into Budapest and wanted to spend a day there before driving back home to Belgrade - and it was by pure chance that a person on the street recommended Mediterran. It is a bit secluded if you don't use a car, but still, public transport will get... more

Stayed at this hotel in October 2005, it was clean and friendly. We were given a room at the front of the hotel, but l asked if we could be moved to the rear as it was quite noisy (because of the main road), the receptionist was very helpful and we were promptly moved to a room over looking the... more

This hotel is very friendly and immaculately clean. The continental breakfast is tasty and plentiful. The evening meals are good and reasonably priced with very good service in the restaurant and bar. The rooms are large and spotless with a well equipped bathroom. There is a mini bar but no kettle or coffee maker. However, there is nothing of any... more

I have stayed in the Hotel Mediterran for 3 nights in September 2005. The stay was arranged by a friend whose nearby company has a convention with the Mediterran so we got a special (reduced) price. The hotel is not cheap but the place is nice, everything is well kept, rooms are spacious and clean as are all the other... more

I have recently stayed at this hotel in Budapest and can only echo the previous reviewer in praising its quiet efficiency, location and professionalism. An easy booking on the phone followed by helpful and forthcoming personnel and excellent breakfast facilities (food high quality too!) complete the picture. Even though the hotel is on a busy point of the Buda part... more

Very good new hotel near the Budapest conference center (5 minutes walking distance). Spacious and clean rooms, good breakfast buffet. Excellent price ratio compared to the conference hotels (approx. 70 Euro per room). Location is at a very busy street, however the rooms have noise protection windows. The city center can be reached within 10 minutes by bus (frequent time... more
