We stayed three nights at Fortuna which seemed to be pretty much ok; basic, cheap hotel. Our room was clean, shower worked ok, little fridge was a nice surprise... BUT: the beds were pretty poor, not a good choice if one happens to be pregnant (like my niece) or having slight back problems (me). Breakfast is VERY simple, but as... More

Clean but really a budget hotel hotel resembles an upgraded factory, rooms in roof. Adjoined to a tai restraunt which was very good and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly Had to ask for towels etc, bar limited in what it could offer, breakfast was poor again very limited to cereals etc. we got boiled eggs on last day No... More

It was years ago(6 years ago), we were looking for a budget hotel to discover lovely Budapest and booked this hotel. Actually, It is not far from the city centre however can't advise you to walk. There is an underground station just 3 mins walking distance from the hotel. (Actually when we reached the centre, we preferred to walk all... More

We were travelling by train and found the hotel at Booking.com. From the station of Keleti it is easy to find and everything is reachable by Metro. The personal was very nice and the service was excellent! We highly recommend the hotel and looking forward to another visit!

The idea was that the info on booking.com is not near as accurate than the actual hotel info at the place. Rooms are pretty dirty and smelly, also a lot of rooms have very poor lighting situations. As for a fast sleep in it is okay, but bring towels.

just ok to stay, nothing fancy, but not ugly or dirty either. the furniture was old and as i remember it was a poor ventilation on the bathroom. Also in the bathroom installations are far from good and modern Breakfast ok

We stayed there for several times, just to sleep. Yes, it is poor: small beds, bad linens, bathroom. If you are lack of money, it is ok. Metro is not far, so it was not a problem to get to the centre (if you are without a car). We traveled both with our car and without it. Parking is free... More

We stayed for 4 nights, 20 of us. Basic amenities was provided. No hairdryer, no kettle for boiling water, limited body shampoo supply. The only thing was supplied was one towel each and a fridge in the room. Some rooms are very small, with little space between beds. The bed sheets and pillow case was dusty, basically the whole room... More

Booked this hotel in January 2014 as I was traveling to visit European Figure Skating Championship. The hotel is located 7 mins away from metro and 10 mins from tram. Everything's old and rusty, but the hotel is pretty cheap and ideal for budget travelers. I was always out of the hotel, because the city itself is stunning. Fortuna offers... More

Hotel is situated too far from the centre, the nearest metro station is almost 1km away. Strange parking policy as you may leave your car only after 7pm, before that time you need to look for a place on the street which is not too easy. Very poor breakfast, any hot food. Also , I spend there two nights and... More
