I stayed at Hotel Stadion for two nights in late December. It is actually changing its name to the Danubious something or other. This hotel was average, and failed to impress me at all. The rooms were of an ok size (for Europe). The beds were somewhat uncomfortable. The tv is TINY and had static (this was the same for... more

My wife and I spent 4 nights at this hotel. For the price we paid we were more than happy. The buffet breakfast was suitable for all tastes, the room clean, well furnished and comfortable. My only gripe was that there was no safe in the room. It felt like a 3*/4* hotel in the UK. The hotel is located... more

Nice hotel with good accomodations. The room is not huge but sufficient, bathroom spotless and everything which was needed was there. Good breakfast, but nothing fancy. Dinner in the hotel was also very good for a reasonable price! I very muched liked the sauna, which is pretty hot 90°C-100°C. But the pool on the other hand was sometimes to cold... more

Just returned from Budapest and the Stadion Hotel.. Very good, clean, pleasant staff. The breakfast was fantastic, would suit every taste. However, there was a hpspitality tray in the room but little in the way of teas and coffee and no milk. I suggest that visitors take a few sachets of coffee and some powered milk. The meals in the... more

I stayed at Stadion at the beginning of April this year. The hotel itself was OK, and the staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke quite good English so there were not much communication difficulties. There appeared to be not much to see or do right around the hotel. One thing that is very convenient about this hotel is that... more

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in June -07. It's situated quite far away from the city and even though you can get there easily with the Metro, (tickets available in the gift shop inside the hotel) if you want a night on the town that involves going by taxi. I don't know what to expect... more

Chose this hotel as it seemed to be the best bang for the buck. Hotel had a BIG workout area and indoor pool. The Metro was being worked on while we were there so we had to take busses to and from the downtown area but this only took :20 minutes or so, the Metro should take even less. If... more

We stayed here because of attendance at a convention in the indoor stadium next door. Hotel was not charming by any means, and, while close to a few restaurants and bars, not real close to the city center. However, it was decent value for the money (we paid 116 Euros; normal posted rate was 110 Euros for a double room... more

The Hotel Stadion is a nice hotel. Its a 1 minute walk to the Metro/Bus transport system and then 5-7 minutes to the centre of Budapest, in the immediate vicinity of Budapest's largest sports, event and fair centre, the Puskás Ferenc Stadium (we went to see Robbie Williams) The hotel was clean and the food ok but there is so... more

We stayed at this hotel in March 2005. It was booked via yeego and we only paid £35 for a twin room per night inc breakfast. (Breakfast was buffet and very good) We stayed there for 5 nights. The hotel itself is clean and very large. The rooms are quite small but clean and comfortable. There are gym facilities which... more
