Really helpful to read other reviews and yes it was a central spot to stay and we did request a room which had a view of the Danube. Easy to find,using train and buses. The location is very good , the hotel is next to Erzsébet bridge , rooms were clean not very large but with comfortable and big bed , breakfast ok , staff polite and i don't remember having any problem at all . Budapest is great but if you go winter take your warmer clothes with you ! more

The hotel, as said before, is a bit run down and old-fashioned, beds are small, no airco in the room but what do you expect for € 100 incl breakfast in the city centre. On the positive: rooms are clean, staff is generally friendly and the location is very convenient. more
