Normafa is the best-located hotel if you are visiting the Wigner physics research institute, which is also known as KFKI. Bus 21 takes you directly to KFKI's gate in about 4 minutes. Hotel was clean well maintained and the 2 rooms we had were without fault without being glamorous. We stayed mid august so it was really hot first 2 days with no air con but staff gave us fans, we were on 2nd floor so the heat rises. Had a great holiday - myself, husband, 4 year old daughter and mother. Nice,clean and spacious rooms. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sun loungers both in the shade and the sun. My girlfriend I visited Budapest for city brake at June 2012. At first it seemed that the hotel is far from the city center, but it turned out that it is not so and is very well connected by bus to the city center. Good place for families with children as well as couples.

We came back after few years and found hotel as good as it was before. We had very relaxing stay. Myself and my friend visied the Normafa for a short break in May 2012. Taxi to the hotel from airport is approx 7500 Forint (approx £23) All the staff were amazing and exceptionally helpful..I cannot fault their service.
