The hotel is in a beautiful green leafy residential area. We came straight from the main station where we bought a very cheap family transport pass that lasts 24 hours from the moment you use it and is necessary for this hotel as you need to take two (very frequent) buses to get there. We took the No 8 bus... More

Indeed it is a pretty area but right now there is a road construction in front of the hotel, which makes it hard to approach and park your car and the road working machines can be loud. It is also quite far away from the downtown, mostly if you use public transportation, and driving due the high traffic it can... More

I considered my wedding here, but when they asked for the typical inflated fee, I told them it was out of my budget. We negotiated a very simple format to avoid the exorbitant price, the owner himself agreed to it. The simple ceremony and dinner occurred, and we were then overcharged the money we had fought so hard to negotiate.... More

The hotel is very clean. Even though the furniture is a bit old, the overall impression is of cleanness and confort. Located in a lovely residential area and has a very nice grean garden. The girl at the reception was very friendly, spoke excellent english and was very willing to help, even with our luggage. Good variety of breakfast with... More

We enjoyed this property so much the first time in Budapest we returned, and again had excellent service. Easy way to get there the first time is to phone hotel, and have them order a taxi. All taxi drivers in Budapest are not the same, be very careful with taxis, get a price first. You do not need a rental... More

Okay, I stayed at this hotel twice in the past (of the 8 times I've been to Budapest). I cannot remember how I stumbled upon this hotel, but I stayed there in 1998 when I was traveling alone for a week in Budapest. This hotel was in a quiet residential neighborhood up in the Buda Hills. Rooms were nice, clean... More

We stayed for one night at this hotel. Very nice room but the only problem was the toilet which was a bit noisy. We had a great view from the balcony- over the Budapest, which was perfect in the night. The food is perfect and the wine also. The hotel stuff is very friendly and helpful. Each time that we... We stayed for one night while driving accross Europe. Location is good with easy to get from highway. The family room was not what we expected - it was two small rooms with shared corridor, the bathroom was a little bit strange (see picture) with bath digged into the floor. No elevator so picking the laguage through the narrow stairs... More

We stayed at the Molnar Hotel for the 2nd time since 2002 for "dental" reasons. We had a nice room in the "dependence" with view to the city. We had dinner on 4 evenings at the restaurant and it was every time very good and not expensive (between HUF 10000 and 12000 for beers (temperature was about 35 C), wine,... More
