We stayed here after getting a deal on last minute.com, but probably wouldn’t have selected it otherwise due to its location, however it was very easy to get to, and the public transport system in Budapest is perfect! The hotel itself appeared very dated from the outside, however was very nice looking in the lobby. There was a terrace and... more

I stayed here as part of a hen party - I would never normally have stayed here having read the reviews! And it wasn't even that cheap so v poor value. Rooms were incredibly dated - no iron, rubbish lighting, hairdryer and airconditioning units looked like they were from the stone age! Although the cleanliness wasn't too bad. You only... more

Worst hotel ever, sprayed chemicals all over the floors and rooms to mask stingy smoking smells. Some staff are rude and inconsiderate. Asked for a refund they didnt even wanted to consider. I got soo sick with all sorts of alergies. If you want a better hotel try KEMPINSKI . DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY. RUDE... more

The rooms smell, the hotel is so dated that it's almost fashionable again, it's in the middle of nowhere, and the park across the road looks dangerous at night. I booked this on lastminute, and tried to cancel it as soon as I made the booking. Unfortunately I couldn't cancel it... so I was stuck here for 4 nights. The... more

We stayed in this hotel with a tour group. Their closet is not in the usual location, between the main door and the bathroom but on the other end of the room beside where the tv is. So I totally forgot about a leather jacket I purchased from our previous trip in Florence. Guess what, the hotel people shipped it... more

Not a 4 star hotel at all- No shampoo, or conditioner, just an all in one body wash for everything. (Which includes hand soap) About 15-20 minutes from the city center, so, get used to taking the trollys and such. There are also no restaurants to eat at close to the hotel.--Even when we asked the front desk, they said... more

location wise, by the bottomless lake, is scenic enough - with a view of the twin spires of the cistercian church - can be quite pretty - see photo. prices are good... but this hotel has nothing much else to offer. the bed is ordinary, the furniture is quite old (unless u r lucky enough to get into the renovated... more

I stayed here for four nights while attending a conference. Due to the conference I was able to get a a greatly reduced rate on a double room. Highlights include good sized rooms, a nice gym and good service. Other than its proximity to the Gellert Baths, there are no other major sights within walking range nor is there much... more
