My stay in room 332 at the Mercure Budapest City Centre was only for one night, but during that time I was very impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. Upon arrival, our coach bus was unable to turn down the street to the hotel, so one of the Mercure's concierge staff walked the 200 meters to meet my group,... More

Staff very friendly and informative. Excelent localisation. Near the main attractions. A few steps from the subway station and from the tram. Room was ok, but very small. Breakfast was delicius and internet connection was fast. Underground parking. More

This hotel is very basic. In my opinion it`s hardly a 3 star hotel. My room was very small, the bathroom was tiny. Cleanliness is bad. Hair in the bed upon arrival, the carpet was old and dirty and there was dust everywhere. The room was generally in urgent need of an refurbishment. The small table considered to be the... More

Hotel Mercure Budapest City Center is located in the center of the famous street Váci utca Budapest. Rated 4 star hotel and is a good level, the room we were in (616), non-smoking floor, was a small room with double bed, shower and toilet and a "landscape" and an inner Lfsag' window that opens only slightly (according to the hotel... We styaed at this hotel for two night following a river Cruise. Although in the city centre the room was quiet, we were right among all attrctions and shopping, and the staf were extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant. Only complaint was a friend purchased a drink at the bar and it was VERY expensive! More

The Hotel has an excellent location at the city center which is the best advantage for choosing it. People at the hotel are friendly but the rooms need a little improvement to their quality. The breakfast is at the average level for four stars hotels. More

Stayed there during a business trip, so my requirements were location, price and internet connection. No complain about that. Lounge is OK. Rooms are the standard ones in a Mercure hotel, not luxury but not bad also. It may need a bit of refitting in the rooms, but nothing really annoying, taking into account the price. More

Right in the city center and a lot of prime sightings, like the Parliament, Cathedral etc... within walking distance (+/- 20 min). Also very convenient for the central busstation at only 500m away and good connetions to the other side of the river, to visit the Castle. The hotel is very centrally located on Vaci utca, which is the best advantage of this hotel but it is almost impossible to find it by car. The rooms are the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel that calls themselves 4 star. The bathroom was old and extremely small. Food in restaurant is also an average. The staff... More
