I had the happy experience to stay in one of the Privilege rooms for the first time recently. The room was extremely comfortable and the Privilege breakfast was definitely a civilised way to start the day. The Privilege experience was something special for this hotel chain and one I would highly recommend. As a Platinum Le Club Accor card holder... More

Well, 4 star hotel as it truly deserves to be! Starting from the very outside appearance, design, helpful and enthusiastic staff, nice breakfast and comfortable room! Everything you'll need is inside. Me verdict is excellent due to its price and location!

This visit to Budapest was a package that included flights and hotel accommodation. The Korona Hotel is very conveniently located overlooking Kalvin Ter where you can catch a tram with connections to all parts of the city requiring minimum walking (very important for the elderly). Our room overlooked the square where we could watch Budapest people going about there day's... More

The hotel is brilliantly located to most amenities. The Metro is literally outside, this being Kelvin Ter. Don't worry about using the metro it is similar to other European cities. You are within a ten minute walk of the Central Market worth a visit, the Liberty/Freedom Bridge and of course the Danube. Also hop on hop off sight-seeing bus stops.... More

The Mercure Krona hotel in Budapest is an ideal base for exploring the city. - Located close to the Freedom Bridge and obviously the Dunube. The hotel itself is very clean, friendly staff but drinks prices a bit high compared to local bars and restaurants. Would certainly return.
