We spent 3 days in Budapest at the IC. Here is our review: > Location: beter than we dreamt of. Close to everything! > Service: nice and polite welcome. > Room: as Priority Club members, we get a room upgrade (basically, a view on the Danube, the Chain Bridge and the Royal Castle!). King size bed and non-smoking room, just... More

By my first time in Budapest for a meeting, I stayed in this hotel. It was esplendid when you open the window and accross the glass you can see Danubio's river and majestic Castle. Despite of it ( localization), hotel's breakfast is big, with a variety of food around the world ( restaurants ). Employers are friendly and most speak... More

Excellent business hotel at the shores of Donau. I stayed at the business floor(8) for two nights. The room was clean and quiet. Large enough for 2 persons. Small bathroom. Excellent staff. Expensive Internet charges. Very good breakfast. Easy to reach by taxi from the airport. Close to everything.

Amazing deal... suite and flights for £1200 for three nights for three of us. Tip: book the regular suite, and then buy the Priority Club Ambassador card on check-in which gets you the upgrade to club suite..same room but free breakfast/lounge/drinks. Room: truly amazing river views; reasonable sized suite;plasma t.v., good bathroom; 90's decor but ok. Hotel: good location, restaurant... More

The Intercontinental is nicely situated on the Danube River, next to the Chain Bridge. Although a fairly standard american style hotel, the location is it's best quality. It is a perfect spot to make as a base for touring both Buda and Pest. Keep in mind that this hotel is a bit pricey for those traveling on the dollar -... More

My wife and I stayed in Budapest for 2 nights and enjoyed this hotel greatly. I had a corporate rate which made it that much more affordable. You simply can't beat the location as most sites are walking distance and there are metro stops close by. We didn't get a river view room (which was substantially more) and did not... More

Stayed there for 2 nights. Great view of the Danube and the chain bridge. Not extraordinary but a very good choice. Rooms are good if you are on the Danube side, views of roof tops in the others. Rooms were clean and the bathroom decent, if a little small. King size bed very big and extremely comfortable.

The hotel itself is typical of the hotel chain, the rooms fantastic (but you have to pay more to look at the Danube). The breakfast was very well presented, but it was COLD every day (we were there for 4 days and we got up early!!) A word of warning, there are many "ladies of the night" crawling around outside... Travelled in Dec 2007 for three days with husband 11 month baby and 3 yr old. Booked on website and emailed extra requirements such as airport transfer E40 cot etc. Hotel exceeded all expectations. The service was incredible, we were treated like royalty from the time we were collected at the airport to the time we departed. They were so accomodating... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights, and it was a very overpriced tourist trap. The room was tiny and overcrowded. There was an insanely (as they all are) overpriced minibar, and the cleaning staff wouldn't even change the bed linens without having to be cajoled. Not to mention we got the "ugly" side of the hotel, facing... More
