We really enjoyed 4 nights at this hotel. The concierges have been helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Even from the 4th floor, our view of the Chain Bridge from our room was lovely. You can walk almost everywhere from here easily. The breakfasts are spectacular! The only problem we had was our shower kept flooding. We did tell... More

This hotel went through a recent renovation and is kept in a very good state. However when we opend the hotel room door it fell off it's hinges :-) The hotel is fine and had some realy good security features as electroninc room pass that also operates the elevators and only works for your floor. A safe that can be... More

The Sofitel Chain Bridge is a great jumping off point for touring both sides of the Danube in Budapest. The hotel sits on the Pest side, but it's an easy walk across the Chain Bridge to Buda. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and ample in size. The included breakfast is extensive and high quality.... More

We had a great stay here the staff were excellent and because we had just flown in from Perth Western Australia a 23+ hour flight because of head winds, We got in the room early by European standards 12:00 rather than 14:00. We paid the extra for the view of the Danube, Parliament house and the chain bridge and believe... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful time overall. Our room (721) had a fantastic view of the river - see my accompanying photos. The bed was very comfortable (as always), and I appreciated having a Nespresso coffee machine in the room, as well as a hot water boiler for tea (which I requested prior to checking... More

We spent three nights at this modern hotel so perfectly located. We were upgraded to an upper floor room overlooking the picturesque Chain Bridge. The Bridge was just a short walk away and makes the Buda side of town easily accessible on foot. Out the front door, and a sharp right U-turn takes you to the pedestrian part of town... More

We arrived at midnight, at reception we were quickly booked in and were shown to our room. We opened the curtains and what a wonderful view we had of the chain bridge and the Danube. Breakfast was very good. We used the pool each day. To celebrate our anniversary we had a meal in the restaurant and were treated like... More

Although the hotel and accommodations are nice, our stay was tainted by the handling of our bill. My friend and I made reservations thru Ama Waterways and arrived in Dec 2015 around 6pm. The front desk said we had reserved for two nights and said that I could not cancel because the reservations was made via travel agency, even though... More
