This b&b is a little aways from the center city. But if you want to save some money or spend it elsewhre, then this is a terrific option in a quiet, residential area. The rooms are clean, homey, and spacious, with private bathrooms for each, and the people that run the place are nice and helpful. Plus, the nearby 4 and 6 trams take you right into the heart of Budapest (and to the main train station) within ten minutes. I paid the equivalent of 30 euros (actually slightly less) for my room. Breakfast is modest, but does feature a boiled egg and a good, salami-like Hungarian sausage.
