Stayed 2 nights as part of a tour of eastern europe. \outside the town but accessible by public transport. Rooms are as said by others a little small but adequate for short stays. storing the suitcases was the main problem. As part of a large group we had a set meal but it was enjoyable. The shops in the hotel... more

The check in were quite fast, the lobby were quite sophisticated, the room is decently spacious and quite clean. I do hope they serve a more various selection of food. I do like the various tea selection though. more

Mercure Budapest Buda is a budget hotel. I stayed for the night, 60 Euro per night. The room is clean, but very small. The furniture looked pretty new. The bathroom was far too small, and the furniture was very old. There wasn't even a space to put the necessity bag, so I had to put it on the floor. The... more

I have visited Budapest for a short weekend during October. Stayed 3 nights at Mercure Budapest Buda as I had preferred the Mercure chain in the past from my previous stay in Paris. But the specific did not meet my expectations at all ! First of all, it is a huge, old -fashioned hotel, located behind the castle district overlooking... more

I seldom complain about hotels. As long as they provide the good for the given price. In case of Mercure Budapest it simply did not!. First of all the rooms are rather small. If plan to take a cot for the young one, be prepared to have problems moving around the room. The biggest issue was the availability of staff,... more

I thought this was a solid hotel. The rooms were clean, and the staff handled all my requests promptly and courteously. The room was air conditioned. There is subway station behind the hotel as well as a grocery store and ATM. There are 2 shops in the hotel, one with snacks, wine and souvenirs, the other with jewelry and glassware.... more

This is a reasonably good hotel, nothing spectacular but it’s centrally located which made it ideal for getting around. I did not like the entrance to the hotel. I had to pass through the hotel lobby with what appeared to be an internet cafe and a quiet bar. The bar staff are not brilliant, just okay. I found the reception... more

We booked this hotel for a romantic weekend with my girlfriend. It was clean with a fantastic shower room, everything we wanted. We liked the view although you cannot see the Danube there is much space for your eyes to stare at. Breakfast was plentiful also. For a 3 star hotel it fully deserves its money. more
