My wife and I stayed here for three nights and we were both extremely pleased. While nothing was extraordinary, everything was very nice. The lobby is pleasant as were the reception staff. The rooms were large, clean, well decorated and well soundproofed. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with both hot and cold foods and fresh... more

We found this an excellent hotel. Well situated, very modern, we had a superior room which was a good size as was the bathroom. We didn't pay for a river view but had a lovely view of the castle at the back. All of the staff spoke English and were very helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and... more

Loved this hotel. First, its location is killer - our view was facing the Danube & Parliament. Second, the room was spacious & the bathroom big - which I love. Too many boutique hotels in Europe have such small, tiny rooms (which are cute) but this was nice sized. Third, the decor is awesome. Fourth, the staff is the unbelievably... more

Again we had a great time staying at the Art'Otel in Budapest. The employees are great, rooms are spacious and well equiped. Location is good and overlooking the Danube river. more

This is a mid sized conventional international hotel, but it does have some design flare (the art that is all over the place). Everything seemed very new, and we couldn''t really fault anything. We paid a bit more to get a river view room, and I would say it is worth it - we had a room on 7th floor... more

The Art hotel is in the lovely area in the Buda side of Budapest. The staff are courteous and speak excellent English and one should use them as guides to the city. They are extremely knowledgeable about the tours and can help you with everything...better than any guide book! The rooms are excellent and the beds comfortable. The cleaning staff... more

We stayed for two nights with friends. We pre-organised a transfer from the airport which cut out finding buses, trains etc although the driver was mad and drove very quickly! The hotel was lovely, very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. Whilst out walking the second day, the waiter from breakfast stopped us to chat - good memory seeing... more

We stayed here in May 2009 and thought the hotel was lovely. It is situated on the river overlooking the stunning parliament building and the hotel has a large number of rooms with views in that direction. The hotel is in Buda (the west side of the Danube, which is supposedly the nicer, yet quieter side of the river) and... more

As with the previous reviewer we had the aircon problem but luckily only for the last night of our 5 night stay, we were getting the evening flight back to LHR and the front desk staff let us have the room until 4pm for no charge in view of the a/c trouble. On our arrival we enquired if there was... more

The hotel is in a great location, spotlessly clean and with spacious rooms. The river view rooms are lovely. On our 3rd night the air conditioning broke down and could not be fixed over a weekend so our 4th night was a bit hot too. However the staff were concerned and as helpful as they possibly could be. We were... more
