Good location on the Buda side of the river in a quiet neighbourhood but its easy to get into pest, trams and buses run past the front door and there is a metro station 2 blocks away which makes getting here from the airport easy. its worth paying a bit more to get a room over looking the river as... Really enjoyed my stay here. Was given an upgrade to a river view room and as everyone says, the view over the river to the Parliament is amazing. Room was spacious and clean and lots of artsy quirks - loved the bowling balls holding up the bedside table. Hotel easy to get to from airport via bus and then metro.... More

Visited this hotel in March and from the outset was very disappointed with the majority of the reception staff. After a very quick check in we were immedately pressured into paying 80 euros for a special price of breakfasts even although we said we wouldnt be available for two of the four breakfasts they were offering us. After explaining that we... More

We paid a little extra for a river view which was well worth it. The views are spectacular especially at night. Room was spacious and clean with a good bathroom. An excellent breakfast which would suit all tastes. Excellent location on the Buda side 5 minutes from the Chain Bridge. Cafe Anna well worth a visit on the Pest side.

I loved this place. It sits across the Danube from the beautiful Hungarian Parliament building (a pretty sight when eating dinner in the restaurant), at the base of Buda Castle Hill. That means you are close to all the sites on the Buda side of the river and away from the crasser touristy areas that can be found in a... More

I stayed 5 night at this hotel during a conference. The hotel is clean, nice, walking distance to some great sights and it offers a beautiful view of the river. The breakfast is also excellent, a thing I really appreciate at hotels. The staff was allways helpful and polite. The big downside was a terrible wifi, it was so bad... More

We booked the Art'otel after reading Tripadvisor reviews, initially I was a bit worried being on the Buda side of the river, however, this was ignorance on my part as I didn't know too much about Budapest until we arrived and discovered that there is plenty to do on both sides of the city and most places can be reached easily... Excellent location for sightseeing. Very close to Good transport links. The palace and parliament buildings are beautifully light up at night. Friendly staff and good service. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
