Stayed for three nights, arrival was easy - our room wasn't ready yet so we had a pint in the hotel bar whilst we waited. As we booked through a third party we didn't expect to have a great room however we totally lucked out and ended up with a room overlooking the river and Budapest Parliament which is the... More

Beautiful hotel located in an ideal place but I could hear lots of noise through out the night and when complained they didn't bother much. Centrally operated aircondition didnt leave me wih enough option to cool up the room on a hot summer night. The place has potential . Probably needs a good management

Finding a reasonably priced hotel during Hungaroring weekend is quite a task. We were lucky to have booked it early enough and when we arrived, although the room was not ready yet (it was around 9.30 in the morning), the staff did everyting to make us welcome. They helped us a lot with organizing the taxi to the Formula 1... More

This hotel delivered on all the things that are important to me, and also had a little extra character in its design that I appreciated. The room was consistently clean, well-maintained, comfortable, etc. They provided good customer service. And the locations was great - very close to transit, right on the river, close to Charles Bridge, close to Castle Hill,... More

The rooms are nice and well appointed, however the hotel is run down largely due to the lack of house cleaning and routine cleaning / painting / repairs. The photos speak louder than words. Also add an unfriendly check-in as well as sloth speed wifi

We stayed here for four nights in the height of a heat wave. Overall we would suggest ask for a room in the main part of the hotel, the hotel is nice and has potential to compliment a great stay in budapest. The hotel is perfectly situated and convenient for any journey to pest side or to remain in buda.... More

Staying in District I / Buda

Neighborhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
