Stayed 4 nights at the Danubius spa in May and found the hotel to be pleasant enough inside but felt that it was far more geared up for it's conference guests and those who are spending money in the spa, we were neither. We got the feeling that they couldn't be bothered with us because we were only here as... more

The hotel lies a few kilometers away from the centre and the next mero station is a 10 Min walk away. That said, the hotel is located a bit outside of the action in the centre. Given that it is facing the Danube, we often decided to walk to the city centre (good for walkers). The hotel's infrastructure is quite... more

Every year my family go to one of the xmas markets in europe, this year we decided to try Budapest. The hotel itself is nice, there were 10 of us staying but the check in was quick, although 2 of our group had to wait a few hours as their room wasnt ready. Theres a gift shop, hairdressers, restaurant, bar... more

In general the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The cleaner came very day, and did an excellent job. The bathroom had plenty of towels / toiletries The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Most of them spoke excellent English It is in a very good location, you can walk 10 minutes down the nearby main road, and can... more

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, choosing the location as a compromise between the city centre and the Sziget festival site on Obuda Island. My room was okay, breakfast was very good. A con was the poor air conditioning system. The weather got very hot during my stay and the a/c failed to provide acceptable room temperatures. My... more

Organised a last minute trip via easyjet whose hotel section luckily included this very nice hotel (which confusingly has been known by other names in the past) at a very reasonable price. The hotels best point is the spa centre comprising 3 pools at different temperatures sourced from thermal water from nearby St Margarets island. The spa complex was clean... more

We had a weekend break in Budapest in May. Hotel Helia is little out of town, but taxi was cheap and the front desk called us taxi every time we wanted. We had thai massage and normal massage and they were both nice. The hotel has a pool area, but I wouldn't call it a spa. There are pools that... more

Hotel was very nice, and had an excellent breakfast buffet. Don't know if it was just our floor, however, but the entire floor was very hot (and it was October and rainy weather). Others on our tour complained about this also. Hotel is away from the city center, but the subway is about 5 blocks away. It is right on... more

Everything was all right, expected better service and more helpfil stasff. City is beautifull, bit poluted. The hotels facilities were extremely poor as it ads itself as wellness. more
