Nice but pretty far from the City Center. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle this is for you. It is relaxing but be ready to go to bed at 9 pm if you do not go into the city. They have some programs which will take you by their shuttle. My only complaint was a... More

We booked our stay through RCI exchange otherwise would have overlooked this hotel due to its location. We arranged a transfer to and from the hotel to save us negotiating the taxi system after the long flight from home and would highly recommend doing this. Our drivers were polite and courteous, yet did not engage with us, maybe the language... More

We have chosen the hotel chiefly for location and kids entertainement (pool and playground). The former was not in its best shape yet we made the best of it. The weather was so bad that we were the only to use. The day before it was hard to find a place though, so I believe it is a bit dense... More

We decided to stay at Petnehazy because its an RCI exchange location, and it was out from the city. We knew going that logistics were going to be complex, but we've been independant travellers for many years. We were met at the airport and driven across town and out to the resort. The ride across the city confirmed we didn't... More

We just returned from a week at petnehazy, and wanted to warn others to stay away. service was terrible - front dest rude and condescending, restaurant, except for man in charge, david, boorish and unresponsive, and the rooms were badly maintained. we asked for a double bed in a quiet location, and got twin beds overlooking the pool, the only... We stayed at Petnehazy in October 2012. The place is very pleasant and beautifull!!! Our accommodations were great, very clean and spacious. We took one tour from the hotel, it was a very nice day, at a beautiful old town! There are anothers tours options. The only disadvantage we can mention is its location, since it is a bit far... We have been going to this hotel for years already with my parents. Especially I myself have enjoyed these trips very much. We have stayed in the cabins that they offer most of the time, only once in the actual hotel. The hotel rooms are very basic in my opinion. It's not so nice to stay there for a longer... More

Stayed at the end of May 2013 in one of the 2 bed cabins. Cabin was clean and quite well appointed, bedrooms were a little short of storage space but we used some the shelves in the lounge area, so wasn't a problem with only 4 of us. Kitchen was tiny, four rings and a microwave but it did have... More

We stayed at Petnehazy in April 2013. We had a wonderful time there. We made friends with other guests at the resort while doing tours with the hotel and simply taking the shuttle into town. You'll hear complaints about the location in proximity to the city. They offer a shuttle and it only takes 20 mins, I believe it was... More

Very gracious...the whole staff Food was delicious, and a nice selection the individual cabins were very well laid out, and even had a steam room beautiful location, not too far from the middle of Budapest, they had a shuttle, if you needed it.
