We stayed here for a week through RCI and it was a great experience in the lodges. They are clean and spacious for a family. Improvements could be made in the kitchen as some items are missing or worn out. Otherwise staff are very helpful and tours organised very well with good multi- language guides (Attila). A memorable experience

We made the arrangements to stay here for a week through RCI. We didn't know at booking time that it was outside the city and, although picturesque, it was an ordeal to get into Budapest. You can either take a shuttle (~ $ 18 Cdn) or a cab (~ $ 27 Cdn) or walk and catch a bus (~ $... More

We used a friends timeshare to stay at this Hotel while in Budapest. It's off the beaten path in the Buda Hills, however, with the excellent bus/trolley/metro system we were able to get into town each day with no issues at all. As noted, there IS a walk to the bus stop that includes an uphill on the way back... More

We spent a week lately at this hotel. It is a lovely place, the food is good, the rooms are clean and Budapest is beautiful However we should have considered the opinions from other people who visited this place earlier and rather rent a car. I made a mistake by not renting one as the program manager pushed us agressively... More

If you want to have a relaxing staying in a country side, Petneházy is your choice! Book own cottage and enjoy eating meals in a big terrace, watching Buda hills! I say again, book a cottage, not a hotel room if you like silence! You can also enjoy a hot sauna and take bronze in pool while kids are having... More

Staying 3 nights in a 6 person cottage where we stayed also for one year during an abroad assignment 20 years back. We knew the location is remote, but that is positive as you are close enough to Budapest to drive out there and enjoy the city. The reception and restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. However when asking... More

This stay was a gift from my mum and step-dad who are members of RCI, and they also stayed at the hotel. It is a fair way out of the actual city, but is in a beautiful rural setting with many trees and laid back feel to it. It is about a Euro40 taxi ride from the airport. Check-in was... More

We spent three nights at this excellently located hotel on the outskirts of Budapest. The hotel is in a beautiful rural location and also has lodges to rent. We attended a wedding at the hotel which was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and we had a great view of the pool which we used on our free days. The... More

when we arrived at the hotel we had a nice greeting, checked in and were given the key. When we got to the cottage the fridge wasn't working very well and the toilet seat was loose. We reported these things at reception. The maintenance man came and looked at the fridge but never came back to fix it!!!!!!!!!! No one... More

We had a pleasant stay here but the hotel could so easily improve what it offers to foreign guests. What they do, they do reasonably well - for example, our guest cottage was comfortable and quiet (being on the far edge of the campus), but pretty basic, with very limited kitchen facilities. On the other hand, it became clear that... More
