Beautiful Hotel in the nature but still so near to the city. The front swimming pool is lovely, the sauna is small for few person per time but nice. We were in a room but they offer cottages too which is more exciting I think. Definitely go there again one day.

Honestly, I have no idea of how to review this hoot of a place. Stayed in a cabin and it's an Ikea log cabin - dark wood exterior and pine floors in the cabin. If you're expecting luxury cabins, you'll be disappointed. If you're expecting summer camp, it's awesome. The interior had everything you'd need: semi-equipped kitchenette, bathroom, non-functioning sauna... More

"But the wifi was good" said my son and then I think he was very friendly. We stayed for 3 nights as a family in a 6 person cottage. The cottage was alright. There was no sauna as stated (but who needed it with 35 C outside). It was clean and had a very small kitchen. The outside table was... More

This was our third visit to Budapest, so we preferred Petnehazy for a "lazy" vacation. But ; the first day we met with Susanna from the reception, it became almost the opposite. She arranged perfect day trips that we couldn't resist to say "no" and even booked a limo for us to Ljubljana with a very reasonable price, although we... More

The hotel area is very beautiful and there is a walk through a forest nearby. The cabins are quite comfortable but the kitchen was not well equipped. Service is average. Very inconvenient location for seeing Budapest as the nearest bus stop is 18 minutes walking and one has to switch to trams. Good for family vacation and relaxation

During our week in June 2015, the indoor and outdoor swimmingpools were completely occupied by groups of children from outside the hotel, like public swimmingpools. Also there were serveral parties all over the hotel during the weekends. The restaurant in the hotel is not as great as you could expect for the price you pay. But for shopping you need... More

This resort is far about 20 min far from the Budapest center. but it is quite and relaxing. The service is a little bit week. but it's fine. Another big problem is the market. The resort don't have a market and the nearest market is about 20 min walking. The restaurant of the resort is good but it closes at... More

Location is inconvenient. About a 20 minute walk from resort down a narrow road to public bus. Drivers are determined to reach their destinations. Your only option to escape is to jump in a ditch. We chose taxis, $40 and at least an hour to downtown. Renting a car is a poor idea as parking in Budapest is basically impossible.... More

Petnehazy offers a relaxing environment with nature, and charming cabins which include saunas. The property offers both an indoor and outdoor pool and is a two minute walk from a stable and riding school where you will see beautiful horses. The staff is welcoming, helpful and friendly. The resort is about a 20 min drive from city activities such as the... More

we stayed here with friends who booked through RCI. They had a chalet and we were in the hotel. I think we got the better deal in accommodation. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The safe was broken but they replaced it right away. Our shower is powerful and lots of hot water. The staff speak excellent English. The restaurant... More
