If you want to have a relaxing staying in a country side, Petneházy is your choice! Book own cottage and enjoy eating meals in a big terrace, watching Buda hills! I say again, book a cottage, not a hotel room if you like silence! You can also enjoy a hot sauna and take bronze in pool while kids are having... More

Staying 3 nights in a 6 person cottage where we stayed also for one year during an abroad assignment 20 years back. We knew the location is remote, but that is positive as you are close enough to Budapest to drive out there and enjoy the city. The reception and restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. However when asking... More

This stay was a gift from my mum and step-dad who are members of RCI, and they also stayed at the hotel. It is a fair way out of the actual city, but is in a beautiful rural setting with many trees and laid back feel to it. It is about a Euro40 taxi ride from the airport. Check-in was... More

We spent three nights at this excellently located hotel on the outskirts of Budapest. The hotel is in a beautiful rural location and also has lodges to rent. We attended a wedding at the hotel which was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and we had a great view of the pool which we used on our free days. The... More

when we arrived at the hotel we had a nice greeting, checked in and were given the key. When we got to the cottage the fridge wasn't working very well and the toilet seat was loose. We reported these things at reception. The maintenance man came and looked at the fridge but never came back to fix it!!!!!!!!!! No one... More

We had a pleasant stay here but the hotel could so easily improve what it offers to foreign guests. What they do, they do reasonably well - for example, our guest cottage was comfortable and quiet (being on the far edge of the campus), but pretty basic, with very limited kitchen facilities. On the other hand, it became clear that... More

Using RCI we booked the cottage for our week in the Buda Hills above Budapest. Great facility with daily tours from the hotel including Vienna, a traditional Hungarian supper and folk dancing/music, Hungarian horsemen, and others. Twenty minutes by car to Budapest. Hotel even arranged to pick us up at the dock after our river cruise in conjunction with their... More

Our stay here was quiet except for the last night when we had an early morning flight and the horse stables decided to play their music pretty loud. We had a cottage with two bedrooms and one bathroom but aren't quite sure how we would have shared the space with another couple since there is little storage so we used... More

Nice but pretty far from the City Center. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle this is for you. It is relaxing but be ready to go to bed at 9 pm if you do not go into the city. They have some programs which will take you by their shuttle. My only complaint was a... More

We booked our stay through RCI exchange otherwise would have overlooked this hotel due to its location. We arranged a transfer to and from the hotel to save us negotiating the taxi system after the long flight from home and would highly recommend doing this. Our drivers were polite and courteous, yet did not engage with us, maybe the language... More
