Cheap hotel near the centre. The neighbourhood is very lively and lots of places to hang around in it, and near places like the Opera and Andrassy utca. The hotel though was very outdated, the service was very poor. They had us waiting for 30 minutes at the reception desk when we arrived to confirm our reservations. The rooms were... More

I understand Hungarian, but I have troubles speaking it, so upon checking in I spoke in English to the receptionist. She then started gossiping in Hungarian (I will not enter into details now, but..nasty stuff!) with her colleague, the security guy. Needles to say, I immediately used the site to book another nearby facility and will forever advise people to... More

Located in the very center. Bit outdated hotel and rooms. Beds are quite hard. Breakfast is in an adjacent restaurant and allthough they offer a large choice, the quality is not that good so maybe think about having your breakfast elsewhere.

We stayed for 3 nights. The first 2 nights were fine. Room was clean. Mini bar reasonably priced, As everybody else has mentioned the breakfast is not so good but it only cost us an additional £1 when added on at time of booking. However the 3rd night was appalling, people shouting and dragging cases around at all hours. You... More

My friend and I stayed here for three nights and the hotel fit our requirements: clean, convenient and safe. It was not luxurious or nice by any means, but we were able to walk everywhere and it was clean and secure. If you're like us, two young ladies, and traveling on a mid-tier budget, then I say stay here to... More

The hotel is well situated for reaching the tourist part of the city, but it is located in a street with a lot of bars and a youth hostel so it was noisy at all hours of the night. There was also only wifi available in reception. The rooms are large and comfortable and reasonably clean. The breakfast was not... More

Just spent a weekend at the King's hotel to celebrate my 50th birthday On arrival we found the staff friendly and helpful as they were throughout our stay they even had a bottle of wine waiting in the room for us to toast my birthday. The location of the King's is excellent not far away from the sites we wanted... More

Drab but clean. Good but small shower with shampoo & soap provided. Aircon a little noisy but efficient. Kettle & cups provided but you need to take your own coffee. Perfect location in the City centre on the edge of the Jewish quarter. Staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast was typical Eastern European with squash instead of juice, cold meats, cheese,... More

Hotel is in a good location for exploring the city centre on foot. Rooms very clean, but looked a little tired in places. The breakfast was terrible - squash instead of fruit juice, nasty coffee, tea and watered down yoghurt. We raised this with hotel reception who were apologetic and explained that the breakfasts were provided by a separate company,... More
