I am very informal. The staff are super polite, in the way only old world Europeans can be - but not stiff. Our room was upgraded, without request from us - though breakfast (at 30E each?) still wasn't included. Top location: right next door to the British Embassy, and the main square of the Vaci Utca. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Kempinski for three days on our recent trip to Central Europe. We had a beautiful well appointed room overlooking the park. The bathroom was oversized and well designed. The hotel restaurants served very good food, and we especially loved the buffet breakfast. The Kempinski Hotel Corvinus is an exceptionally classy and modern hotel. True 5 star elegance and service. Spacious, clean rooms with a lovely pool, sauna and spa area. Great location and I will certainly be back. Loved Budapest and loved the Kempinski!! more
