A special birthday trip meant an opportunity for indulgence. The hotel is indeed luxurious and attentive to most needs (were we the only people who have looked for an iron and ironing board in the room and found none?)...naturally, though, these come at a price. The room was a little on the small side but very well appointed; the bathroom... More

Stayed in the Kempinsky Budapest for 3 nights and from start to finish the whole experience was excellent. Staff polite and very helpful, room spotlessly cleaned morning and night , turndown done and 2 bottles of water every night.very quiet room on 3rd floor 309, not a huge room but for a City Centre Hotel it was almost soundproof. Bed... More

With the Kempinski name, I expected nothing short of amazing. And they delivered! I had no idea the location was so good. We were dropped off by taxi at the front, and later learned the opposite side of the hotel opens up to a pedestrian street with wonderful shops that lead to the famous Vaci Street for more shops. The... More

Visited Budapest last year around the holidays. Choose Kempinski after reading the reviews on Hotels.com. We are glad we did. From our arrival to the Kempinski and on our departure date - it was service with a smile. The front desk was so helpful and even gave us an upgrade. The concierge was gracious and helpful - we took his... More

This is our first visit to Budapest and we have been delighted with the quality of the hotel, it's central location, and the superb attitude of the staff. In particular we would like to thank Edina, who works in the Living Room, for her excellent service and friendly and helpful attitude.

I was so impressed with Budapest, this is an absolute must-see destination in Europe! There is so much to do in this busting city, from exploring history to wine tasting to riding along the Danube there is truly something for everyone. Especially with all of the outdoor park spaces, this is a great city for families. And the Kempinski is... More

We stayed at the Kempinski Cornivus for 3 nights at the beginning of November for a long weekend. It's located in a great location close enough to walk to most sights and events. Our room was fantastic overlooking the Erzsebet Ter which has a 'Budapest Eye' which adds to the atmosphere. Staff at the hotel, without exception, are wonderfully friendly... More

Have just returned from a three night stay at the Kempinski. Hotel is in a great location and is very well furnished with helpful staff. Bedroom was large and provided everything that you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Was very hot in the room despite the air conditioning being on. We dined in the Nobu restaurant which was... More

We spent 2 nights at the Kempinski, which was very good value for a high end property … modern lobby, quite chic, good concierge service …. we needed train tickets arranged, and for a small fee the concierge bought the tickets for us and sent a runner to pick them up and bring them right to us at the hotel....
