have had two stays in this hotel, it is in a great location just a few metres away from underground station and a short walk to the fabulous heroes square and szecheney baths. the staff went the extra mile to be helpful, not too keen on the breakfast, typical Ibis fare, but with so many wonderful places to eat locally... Having booked the cheapest hotel I wouldn’t have planned the better location (which came with the booking). It is not in the centre, but it is in the CULTURAL centre – you’re close to the zoo, a lake, thermal baths, pubs/bars, museums. Should you wish to go to the city centre, it’s just 5-7 minutes with the metro (goes every... More

This hotel was great value for money with a clean and comfortable room, Breakfast good and staff very helpful. The two lifts worked most efficiently, one taking only seconds to arrive after button pressed. It was 5 minutes walk from Heroes' Square and the Metro, which took you to the centre in about 10 minutes. Did you know that if... More

All the usual inclusions for an Ibis hotel. Simple comfort at a reasonable price. The breakfast was different to other Ibis hotels we have stayed stun that there were far more items offered. Extras included chicken salad in mayonnaise and a shredded vegetable salad, scrambled eggs with or without ham pieces, chips etc. Easy parking underneath. Station nearby.

This hotel is steps away from Heroes Square. I was in the hotel in the summer and it was a VERY hot day. The air conditioning was not working in my room and it was very uncomfortable for the night. The room I had was very unique it was in a cove almost. The bed was under stairs and the... More

Location is great, next to the heroes square. Helpful reception offered a restaurant and we did visit the place .Metro 1 takes you to directly to the center of the city.rooms are a bit small but enough for a short stay. Clean & Cosy atmosphere.

This is a very functional, basic hotel, but it is cheap and you get what you pay for. Very clean and management were very helpful. It is close to Heroe's Square, The People's Park, the Zoo and the top end of Andrassy Street. There are good underground and bus links to the city centre. Also, the big bus (tourist bus)... More

Great hotel in a good location, 2 mins walk from a metro station on line 3 and very close to the zoo, city park and heroes square monument. We had room 319, very big twin room looking over the zoo. Great value for money, we used booking.com and got 4 nights for £121. Bargain!

Stayed 5 nights here , at the end of June. Hotel, rooms, and dining area is kept nice and clean, plenty to eat for breakfast with cold meat, cheese, eggs ,porridge, cereals , yoghurts, bread, rolls, etc. etc. Manager and staff are very helpful and friendly, special mention of barman Pal who made us feel very welcome. Apart from Heroes... More

Great start to a memorable vacation with my sister and friend. Surprisingly large guestroom to accommodate 3 women very comfortably. Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke enough English that we were able to understand them. Wonderful location near the Budapest sign and Heroes Square with quaint eating places nearby. Safe area and very easy access to public transportation from... More
