This hotel is rated with 4 stars but my opinion is that it deserves less than that. I've stayed in better 2 star hotels. It is true that the price is very low , the rooms are big and the location is good. In fact, I wouldn't be so critical if i hadn't found a piece o sausage under my... more

After intensive search I booked a room here because it had one of the lowest rates I could find online for this kind of accommodation. Due to the low rate, I feared I would be given one of the least desirable rooms they had. Yet, it was a pleasant surprise to discover that my room was actually on the 12th... more

I arrived at the hotel late at night without a reservation after a quick change of plans. Despite my late arrival at around 11.30pm the staff were very helpful and spoke perfect english. The porter was very helpful with my bags and showed me the room. I had a lovely room on the 6th floor with a lovely view of... more

This hotel maynot be cutting edge in interior design but the staff are committed to being cutting edge in quality of service. The desk staff really went the extra mile to help make our stay a happy and enjoyable one.All staff were informative and spoke perfect english. They oragised boat trips and taxis that took the stress out of our... more

I have stayed at the Budapest twice and think it is really good. It is located in a quiet suburb but the upper floors have splendid views over the city or the hills to the west. I don't understand critics who complain about the 60s/70s look of the hotel - the hotel wouldn't exist if it hadn't been built at... more

I stayed here 2 evenings with a large tour group in September 2009. It was quite good. We were greeted upon arrival with fresh juice, and given our keys promptly to get to our rooms. The rooms themselves were quite good. The bathroom had a bath which was nice, although other than that it was quite basic. There was a... more

I am as fussy as it gets. I am very sensative to EVERYTHING...Having said that - this hotel was fine. It's major downside - It's a bit far from the center on teh Buda side. BUT - transportation to the hotel is excellent. RIght infron of the hotel you can take tram number 59 or 61 to moscow square -... more

After searching a lot in the internet, i decided to book a room in this hotel. I went in Hungary for the first time in my life so i decided to stay in a good hotel. I was attracted by the beautiful exterior design of the hotel and the brand name of the company owing the hotel "danubius hotels" Though,... more

Overall, its a good hotel. Its not located in the center of the city, but it has very easy access to public transportation. I would definitely stay there again. The only problem was that the air conditioning hardly works in the hotel and in the summer it gets a little hot. However, if you leave the windows open at night... more
