I am a Gold honors member and we were told to go to third floor. The best staff, the best everything. A special treat for my wife and I. Best hotel experance we have ever had. Budapest is special. They work at keeping it that way. Bert more

Although this hotel is a trek uphill (or taxi or bus) from Pest and a lot of the attractions of the city you do have the benefit of being in the middle of the castle district and therefore an idyllic location especially if you benefit from a city view. The main downside of the hotel was the staff. I stayed... more

Many other comments highlighted the upgrades treatment to Hilton Honors members. I am a HH but my wife and I did not receive that. On the plus side, since traveling by overnight train we arrived into the Budapest Hilton around 10am that is before check-in time. Around 12:30pm they provided a room (noticeable above US Hilton standard) but I had... more

I would recomend this hotel. The location is key for Budapest. The location in the castle district is in the middle of most of the sights you want to see. Everything in the castle district is within walking distance of the hotel. The funicular is also close by giving you access to the chain bridge and then pest. The rooms... more

Nice hotel, definitely one of the premium places in Buda, worth the money. If money is not an object then stay at the Four Seasons, otherwise stay here. Staff is decent. more

We stayed for our 30th wedding anniversary - when we arrived we were upgraded to a river view room which was fantastic... The location could not be better, a great walk to Pest through the castle and gardens. The hotel could not do enough for us, would recommend this hotel. Good selection for breakfast, only had a buffet lunch once... more

We were very pleased with the rooms we had for our family. Each of the rooms had a view of the castle spire, Danube and Pest. The rooms were large and well maintained. The staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good and included in our room rate. It included egg's etc. Bathrooms were large and modern. Great location... more

A good enough hotel, especially to take advantage of recent Hilton deals (2for1 etc). Rooms and corridors upstairs are a little dark and dowdy, in need of a refurb. Definitely get a room with a view over the Danube to the Parliament building. Breakfast was normal buffet affair and they specifically offered to make eggs to order. They fill up... more

We stayed here for only one night, our last night in Budapest, as a treat before our return. Very pleased with our room which had a fabulous view. We also took advantage of the in-house masseuse. The location is amazing. more

The Hilton Budapest was a wonderful retreat for myself and husband. We recently returned from a vacation from Vienna ,Prague, and Budapest.Budapest was the most difficult for us . But after a long day returning to the Hilton we felt back at home. The staff and view was super great. Spend the extra to get the Executive Floor. More than... more
