Great location, city centre, however, very noisy all night due to trams running right outside the hotel. Hotel not what we would class as being 3 star, but clean. Staff were helpful, plenty of information available at reception on what to do around the city. West End shopping centre is right on the doorstop, as are plenty of eating places.... more

After looking and not finding the hotel I found on the internet, I walked and walked around Budapest searching for a hotel. I came across Ring City Hotel. 70 Euros a night seemed okay. The room was small and uninviting, the curtains did not fully fit the windows and the room had 2 very small beds. I stayed for a... more

I staied in this hotel last weekend and was very disapointed. When we arrived my first impression was 'oh my god what is this?' the exterior and interior of the hotel is filthy the staff had little to no english and were very unhelpful. Breakfast was basic and altho we were quoted our stay in Euro we were requested to... more

This hotel was fine. Nothing special, but for the price was included a medium size room, tiny bathroom, good breakfast, helpful staff and a pretty good location. You could probably get something closer to the River Danube but if you do not mind walking a little bit then this one was fine. Room was clean, staff helpful. Only concern was... more

Myself and my husband were due to stay here for 4 nights on 20th Aug 07 but checked out after the first night. This hotel claims to be a 3 star, I honestly would not even give it a one star! The hotel is old and shabby, the lift did not work and the only english speaking channel did not... more

I stayed here with a friend from Dec 27 through Jan 2, to celebrate the New Year in Budapest with some local friends. It was a very nice tourist class hotel with a decent breakfast buffet in the morning (although the coffee was a little on the bitter side). . . The location is reasonably central to the city, with... more

I just returned yesterday from Budapest after staying there for about 24 hours (Waiting for a connection flight). About a month before the trip, I used TripAdvisor to pick up hotels for the entire trip and after reading the reviews for the City Panzio Ring, decided to pick it. I arrived at the hotel with 2 buddies to a pre... more

I booked 6 twin rooms at this hotel for myself and 11 friends. I booked it because it had good reviews on trip advisor was fairly central and was very well prices I was worries that the rooms may be doubles or not up to standard but my worries were totally unjustified. This is a very good hotel. The rooms... more

Stayed at the City Panzio Ring Hotel in Budapest in June 2006 with 4 friends from Manchester. This is an unspectacular hotel, but a good value one. Rooms were clean, staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good. (Buffet style, but a good choice and freshly prepared). Location is the key to this hotel. Right in the middle... more
