Every room has a great view of the Castle and location was very good. Only minus for us was that it was full with people going on River Cruises. The room they gave us had one of those doors that could make the room adjoining the next room - we could hear our next door neighbors talking and their wake-up... More

We extended our river cruise for three days in Budapest. The Marriott is a lovely and busy hotel. Our room overlooked the Danube and the Buda side of the city which is beautiful. Looking out at the city lights was fantastic. The hotel was wonderful with helpful staff, great breakfast buffet, very clean and within walking distance of the pedestrian... More

Best location. Lots of good restaurants and attractions near by. Street car is just around the corner. My husband and I enjoyed the room upgrade with the view of the Danube river, the castle and the bridge. Great view at night as well. The club lounge is the heart of the hotel. The view, food and beverages were awesome. Staff... More

Everything just feels right at the Mariott hotel Budapest. The location is perfect - downtown with all places on walking distance. The rooms with view at the river and Buda castle are beautiful and the breakfast and services are top. The hotel bar is the most cosy of all hotel bars I've seen so far in Budapest. Try it. You... My wife and stayed at the Budapest Marriot for three nights in August before joining a river cruise. This hotel certainly lived up to what I have learned to expect of a Marriot hotel, worldwide, in every respect. We had an excellent room with great views of the river Danube. The food was first-rate and staff was exceptional going that... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and its location right in downtown Budapest on the water is excellent. By spending a little bit more, we had access to the rooftop lounge and basically could eat there morning to night, with complimentary wine in the evening. Worth the extra!

I travel for business, and that was the point of my travel here. I was lucky enough to bring my wife, so when this hotel was recommended to me by my customer, I was a little disappointed that he didn't suggest a smaller, quainter hotel. But my expectations were way off when we walked into our room that overlooked the... More

The Hotel Marriott Hotel in downtown Budapest is a great location with lovely rooms (non smoking available) pleasant atmosphere on the river and an enjoyable breakfast in the morning as part of the room rate. Strolling along the boardwalk in the evening is safe and the lights show up the city.

located perfectly within walking distance from everything, this hotel is simply amazing. The service was very good and the views from our suite was breathtaking. Our Europe tour was amazing and Budapest is one of our favorite European towns so far

This hotel has been paid for our accommodation twice and refuses to refund the duplicate payment. The Reception Supervisor was most unfriendly when we checked in. However, we found Kitty, a reception staffer, to be most helpful as she tried to help us resolve the problem caused by our travel agent.
