We were staying at the Aquincum Hotel during the Sziget Festival in Budapest. For the festival the location is good, but it's a little bit outside the city centre which I guess most tourists will be visiting for. I'm sure it's a nice business hotel. Rooms are ok but could to with an upgrade. The hotel itself has seen its... More

The hotel is very nice. Me and my fiance liked the spa very much. It is open until 22h, they provide slippers, towels and bathrobe. 3 pools, jacuzzi and many many massages. Rooms were clean every day, tea and coffee facilities were available in the room. The free wifi worked properly and was good everywhere in the hotel. The breakfast... More

I had a meeting in The Aquincum Hotel and I decided to have breakfast. It was a very good decision. The price is reasonable for the selection which was provided. The professional staff was smiling. The show kitchen is an extra service where I could order omlett and pancakes. I will come back with my colleagues.

As I arrived to the Hotel, bellboy was prompt to help me with my luggage and introduce me to the reception. Check in was very smoothly done. Had a quite River view room and it was magnificent. The view from the room was spectacular. Breakfast was more than a 5* and eventually we upgraded for executive facilities which is for... More

Do not book a taxi with the hotel- they do not send anyone, it is just a normal taxi except it costs more. Also taxi prices are very fair and well regulated in Budapest. I complained immediately on seeing the room. The furniture was tired and dirty. The bedding was appalling. I would not even donate it to a charity... More

Had a long weekend here. Quite grand, very clean and efficient staff. The bar and food prices were on a par with Uk city prices which we were happy with seeing as it was 5 star. The rooms were ample. Beds very comfortable indeed. The spa, gym and sauna facilities were of a good standard. Location wise it's not too... More

The hotel is fine, clean, quiet and has everything you need, along with a nice spa. I can't fault the place at all really and it was a very last minute break for us. But the only issue is that its quite far for the city, we don't mind a walk at all, but you can't really walk it. Although... More
