Exterior of the Ramada Plaza by 807Wheaton , 4 more photos Send Photo to a Friend We were on a tour of Imperial Europe when we visited Budapest. We found the Ramada Plaza an excellent place to stay. It's on the Buda side of the river, across from Margaret Island. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a... more

Myself and my boyfriend are just back from a weekend in the Ramada Plaza Budapest. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel itself is really nice, as with the other reviews it doesn't quite fit the 5 star tag but it is a nice, clean comfortable hotel with pleasant efficient staff and a great pool/spa area. The only problem we... more

I loved to stay in this hotel, very nice rooms, friendly staff and a great bar. The have Thermal water in the Spa, so after a long day its a gread idea to sit in 38 degree hot water and relax. There is a shuttle bus to the Chainbridge in front of the hotel, so easy to go there and... more

We loved the spa at this hotel. They have thermal bath waters pumped in from natural hot springs in addition to the standard swimming pool and jacuzzi. They have a sauna and steam room and a weird relaxation room with mood lighting, spa music, and water beds. Best of all, we indulged in massages. I got a Thai massage which... more

I stayed at this hotel because it was close to a friend that I was visiting who actually has an apartment nearby. The room was on the consierge level and the staff went out of their way to wait on us all the time. There was a nice lounge with a computer around the corner from our room and that... more

Stayed 7 nights in August 2009. The hotel's location was excellent for our trip as we attended the Sziget festival. I'm aware other travellers have complained about the out of town location but there's a station 2 minutes walk away from which it's a 10 minute train ride into town. Buy a travel ticket (various durations) and this covers all... more

If I go to Buddapest, I´ll stay in the same hotel. The only difference is that this time, instead of using taxies, I´ll use the Train. You can go the hotel from the airport or to the airport using the train (the last leg to the airport is using a bus, just outside of the train station). If you already... more

Even though the hotel is a little away from the main part of the city it is worth staying there. You can cross the Arpad Hid(bridge) & walk over onto Margaret Island & then into the city that way if you're feeling energetic or alternatively the tram stops just over the road from the hotel & you can be in... more
