We really enjoyed our stay. Staff at reception were helpful on arrival and booked a taxi for us back to the airport. We had coffee and wine in the room on arrival which was nice. Very central location. We walked everywhere but this was by choice. Metro is only a couple of minutes aways. Tesco and Spar right outside and... More

I can only add to what others have said. This is very nice, unique accommodation with very friendly staff. A very convenient and comfortable base from which to explore Budapest. The pictures speak for themselves really, it's a cool place. It got to -12 degrees at one point and the apartment was well heated and comfortable. Appreciated the wine and... More

Staff were great, good communication and very friendly. Easy to deal with upon arrival. Apartment was as described and very well equipped. Very good lcoation for the Jewish Quarter, which in my opinion is the best part of Budapest. The only issues for us is that the wifi stopped working on the last night, the toilet flush broke on the... More

On initial view and staircase I wondered what all the good reviews were about but on entrance to our apartment after a quick check in from Francesco we were relieved to see traditional style with modern decor and fixtures and fittings. It's well located and a right out of the front entrance and a right at the Tesco takes you... More

This place is amazing! Two young friends went for 5 days, the apartment made our trip! Perfect location and the staff were lovely, helpful and very friendly. We fell in love with Budapest and having somewhere equally as lovely to stay in just topped it off. We had no problems throughout our stay and we want to go back already!

The apartment we stayed in is well equipped even for a longer stay with fully functional kitchen. Modernly designed and very clean. Location is very good, the inner city centre is within 10 minutes of walk. Numerous bars, restaurants, grocery shops all around the apartment. Free wifi. Great touch with a led colour mood light.

Fully stocked with coffee, milk and sugar and a washing machine, with a tesco (with an ATM) just underneath the building. We were welcomed by enthusiastic member of staff who was knowledgable on the area and gave wonderful suggestions. The apartment was clean and spacious and exactly as it was advertised. The sitting room had a separate dining area and... More

I spent 3 nights here with 7 friends. We had booked 3 apartments and having viewed all 3, I can honestly say that they were all of the same high standard. Easily accessible to the sights, bars and restaurants with Tesco next door and Spar across the road. The facilities were excellent, from the lounge to the kitchen, all were... More

The apartment was located in the jewish district with nice and historic enviroments, but it was still very centered. 5 mins walk from Astoria metro station, with many facilities nearby. The staff was serviceminded and helpful. The only two displeasures was that the shower was a bit densed, so the water ran very slowly to the pipes (and we were... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
