We, a family of 4, visited Budapest in July and stayed in the Boscolo Residence. The apartment we were given was absolutely gorgeous. Very spacious living and kitchen area. Two comfortable bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. One toilet room and one bathroom. It was a very spacious and clean apartment which was decorated in a modern style.... More

Very spacious and luxurious apartment in a stunning location. Everything you could need, including, dishwasher, washing machine, safe, and most importantly, great service. I particularly enjoyed the feeling of light, as there were large, floor to ceiling windows all the way around each room. There is a great spa facility within the building too.

Arriving from Budapest Airport with Taxi costs you about 6500 HUF, the location is so-so, as there is not much nearby, but taxis are relativly cheap. The room was spacious, plenty of storage room and there was a nice touch by the reception to provide us with leaflets of all kinds of things to do. Excellent service. However the room... More

It is often tough to find hotels that accommodate families, so this apartment hotel is ideal. Very nice, modern rooms with kitchens were shockinly reasonable... $80US per night for a two bedroom unit. Located very close to the metro and easy to reach all areas of the city. The only slight drawback is that there isn't much in the immediate... More

We stayed for 3 nights. We were given a 2 storey room which looked into an atrium (other rooms). From the website I was given the impression all rooms had a view, so I was disappointed. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. It was fairly basic, but nice enough. Website indicates this place is luxurious. It isn't, but it was... More

It is a like a serviced apartment and the floor area is really big compared to a normal hotel room, especially there are facilities like washing machine. The staff are very friendly and we are offered for a upgrade when the room we booked was not ready at the time of check-in. Prices are also reasonable. A few areas to... More

Boscolo Residence is a proclaimed 5-star facility, but in my opinion it lacks some things to truly call it a 5-start hotel. Pros: + reasonable prices + spacious + tasteful and modern interior + very good taxi service provided Cons: - Bed very hard (no cover mattress available) - pillow very hard (no softer pillow given although promised by reception)... We are staying at the residence, now. On arrival, we were immediately upgraded. The two of us got a two bedroom -two bath apartment. It was very clean and so spacious. It has a washing machine ( much needed after two weeks in Europe),and a dryer is provided between the first and second floor( marked gym). Very easy access to... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
