We spent 4 nights here and I must say it was well worth the money. It was spacious and had everything a family may want on a break. The rooms could have been a tad cleaner but this is just a small issue, as overall, it was a great place to stay. The greatest strength of this place is it's... More

After spending two weeks on a Viking cruise, spreading out in our lovely one bedroom apartment was very relaxing and comfortable. The location on the backside of the more luxurious Boscolo Hotel, formerly the New York Palace, was actually more restful than most inner city hotels because it was further removed from traffic and street noise. I found the staff... More

My 2nd stay here and this time with my children. Clean, modern, spacious and very comfortable. Better value than a hotel room. Fantastic to have the grand hotel next door to walk through. (linked door on 3rd floor) Travel adaptor plugs to rent from reception if you forget yours. Free tea and coffee all day downstairs. The gentleman on reception... More

We stayed in the Boscolo one bedroomed apartment for 6 nights. Excellent apartment - clean, well furnished, stylish and very close to the metro and no. 4 and 6 tram to see all the wonderful sights in Budapest. Kitchen well equipped - staff even supplied dishwasher tablets. Toiletries of a very high quality. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate in... More

The property was lovely and the location was great but the service was well below par. The sofa bed in the living room had no bedding and the service staff was very slow to respond. The TV in the huge living room was mini size. Dish washer was broken and there was only one washing tablet. Not enough towels either.

The only reason I have given this 4 stars is because some improvements could be made to make it perfect however, it is a great place to stay and had everything we needed. We stayed here for a week and thought it was very clean and well maintained, the apartment was spacious and the reception staff very helpful. It is... More

Nice hotel which is located near to a Metro Station which is very handy. Staff is polite and helpful. Rooms are neat and nicely kept. Housekeeping staff is very helpful and tended to our needs swiftly.

We arrived as a couple to this hotel and were initially told that we were not booked in and that we would be transferred to their sister hotel. This was not a problem, although the receptionist then realised that we were booked in and showed us to our room no problem. The room we had was beautiful and very spacious,... More

The apartments are quite comfortable. You can also take the option of sauna and spa with the residency stay which can be very enjoyable after a days work. The apartments at the back overlook the atrium which is a bit claustrophobic but the street facing ones are better. Keep the windows closed to avoid noise.

We, a family of 4, visited Budapest in July and stayed in the Boscolo Residence. The apartment we were given was absolutely gorgeous. Very spacious living and kitchen area. Two comfortable bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. One toilet room and one bathroom. It was a very spacious and clean apartment which was decorated in a modern style.... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
