I arrived at this hotel for my 30th Birthday with my boyfriend and the hotel had arranged fowers and champagne in the room. The rooms are lovely and so clean, yeh they may be small but who goes to Budapest to sit and worry about the size of your room. Cleaners cleaned everyday and left fresh towels and a fresh... More

This hotel is close to the main shopping areas, river, and tour buses. Our room was very dark at night, darkest motel I have ever been in, so easy to fall asleep. The staff was very helpful and their breakfast was one of the best we had on our 34 day trip!!!!

We stayed over for a long weekend (3 nights) during the grand prix and what a treat to find this hotel. To be fair I did quite a lot of research before booking so expectations were high and it did not disappoint. We had a classic double room, which was absolutely fine for us. The rooms are small ... the... More

We stayed at the bohem art hotel 23rd-28th July whilst we attended the Hungarian Grand Prix. Couldn't rate the hotel highly enough, from the minute I booked the reservation months ago, the hotel were fab and emailed me within 10 minutes of booking to confirm, and let us know we will receive a free welcome drink of our choice, free... Our first trip ever to Budapest was a huge success and a big thank you for this goes to the Bohem Art hotel. I couldn't have done better when choosing the hotel for our family. The Bohem Art is a nice, smallish hotel situated conveniently on a quiet street between the Vaci Street and Donau, near the market hall. Rooms... More

What an amazing hotel: 1) Super comfortable beds 2) Wifi worked perfectly 3) Rooms were properly air conditioned 4) Breakfast is included and is great--- such variety! 5) Staff are helpful! Such a great location as well! Maybe not the easiest to meet other travellers the way a hostel would be, but it's a fantastic place to stay. The small... More

Stayed at the Bohem Art Hotel in July 2015. They allowed for a late check-in and presented us with a complimentary bottle of champagne upon arrival. Rooms were immaculate and bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty with wide selection suitable for all. Would recommend.

Lovely, spacious room with interesting art. Breakfast was good with nice selection. At our request, they booked us taxis from train station on our arrival. Staff were very helpful. Nice location near to pedestrian shopping street.

I have just arrived back in the U.K from an eleven night break in Hungary. During my time in the country I stayed five nights in this wonderful little hotel. From the moment I contacted the hotel to embark on the reservation until the end of my stay in the accommodation my family and I were treated to exceptional customer... More

I liked this hotel so much I am returning in September. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are very clean and the Wi-Fi is fast. The breakfast is superb as everyone else has noted. The location is very good, only a block from the Danube and a ten minute walk to the main shopping street. The tram... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
