The hotel has a really nice location close to the many sites in Budapest. It is two minutes from the Danube and close to the main pedestrian street. The room was rather small but very clean and quiet. The staff was helpful (but missed where the boat to Vienna departed from). The breakfast was great. This is a hotel where... More

Stayed three night at this hotel in April 2015. Everything was great. The room was very spacious and clean. Comfy bed and nice bathroom. Staff was fantastic and very helpful. Gave us information about the city, what to see and ordered taxis for us to various parts of the city and to the airport. Breakfast was just super and the... More

Let's get rid of the downside straight away - the room was a bit on the small side. That said, we were in Budapest for the city and what it had to offer, so that tiny negative didn't bother us in the slightest. The hotel is clean, welcoming, slightly quirky (in a good way!), very well located on the edge... More

We found this place on the internet. It turned out to be a great little hotel. We will definitely come back and stay here again when we get a chance. Great location. Simple, but very nice accomodations. Great breakfast. Very nice staff.

I stayed at the Art Hotel Budapest for several nights during a vacation visit in October. It is a terrific and reasonably priced option in the city. The rooms are very small but they are well appointed and very quiet. The bathroom was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The hotel itself is extremely well located and within... We loved this hotel. Funky decor, staff spoke perfect English and were very helpful. A highlight was the lovely breakfast with loads of options and also the complementary coffee, tea, iced water and nibbles available in the bar when we got back after a day wandering the streets. Location was very convenient, room was small but adequate and spotlessly clean.... More

We enjoyed a stay here in early March. It was a few blocks from the main tourist area but this would be a benefit during busy season, I think. The hotel was clean and breakfast was plentiful with many options. Front reception was very helpful with local information and to arrange taxi. Very near the river and the Fresh food... More

Bohem Art on quiet street just off Vaci Street and close to Central Market Hall and Trams. Staff very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. Room comfortable. Best Hotel Breakfast ever!

My partner got sick in Budapest, so we spent more time in our hotel room than normal.... Just as well we were staying somewhere so nice. The bed was really comfortable, and everything felt brand new. Breakfast was totally amazing. We managed to get a good price, and scored a free upgrade, but even at full price, Bohem would have... More

We had a great 3 night stay here. Friendly reception staff, great breakfasts, fantastic location. Easy walk to the river and many sites. Also easy transport links round the corner. Nice bar in the hotel with snacks at the tables. Great choices for breakfast each day and good waiting staff keep it tidy. Our room was a bit small, but... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
