My friend and me checked in here for the night since we wanted to see a bit of Budapest before taking a connecting flight to Istanbul, Turkey. This hostel is right in the heart of Budapest and is one of the cheapest hostels you'll find. It's honestly a miracle we found the hostel so quickly since it is located in... More

If I enjoyed Budapest I had to thank this hostel too! I was travelling alone and here I met nice guys to talk, party and share the room with! I was in a mixed dormitory with 8 (actually 9) beds.small hostel only 3 room and one bathroom with shower I often queued in the morning but i always had someone... More

I have planned to stay in Budapest with my friends for one night during my holiday. I've checked many of hostels in a centre and decided to book a private quad for one night in Oleander because of great location and good price. The thing is - I have called to reception and book a room I meant. To be... More

This hostel is situated in the center of Budapest and we had a really nice experience at it. People were always hanging out in the common areas, cooking food or chatting. We were quite many in each room so every night someone would come home at 3 am from partying, but it was okay. It was just a really cool... More

This hostel had a perfect location and was so cheap considering. The guy who is on at nights was so so helpful ringing taxis for us and bar crawls! The rooms were a good size and bathrooms and kitchen was nice. There was a few ants on the kitchen surface but it was nice to gave tea and coffee provided!

This hostel is basically a small apartment. Having a kitchen/common area was great! The refrigerator came in handy, and I met lots of nice people. If you choose to stay here keep in mind it is a hostel, not a 5 star hotel. Sometimes loud groups are not respectful of quiet times. The location is excellent! You can easily walk... More

This Hostel is very typical small Hostel in Budpest where you just have 2-3 rooms, it is fun though. The Kitchen/Reception area gives you a nice opportunity to meet people and talk to the special owner of the Hostel who even went to a party with a group of us. The bathroom isnt the cleanest one and if you are... More

This was my first hostel experience. When I arrived (being used of 3-4 stars hotels) I was kinda scared and worried for my backpack... But after experiencing other hostels in Europe, I changed my mind. I could'nt see its perks and benefits before! The stuff is friendly and nice nothing to say against them... But the toilet... It was awfull.... More

Location was great but actual hostel was not great. Helpful staff but only having one one Bath room for 30 guests is not good enough. Overall it wasn't bad but for only slightly more money, you could get far better in Budapest.

Recently stayed in the private triple room with shared bathroom for 2 nights. Not the cleanest hostel I've stayed in, but the building is old and may not be due to the fault of staff. A good central location and adequate facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
